WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Fujikura Pro Iron is a graphite iron shaft with Fujikura's High Density Composite Core (HDCC), which lets it reach steel swing weights at steel length. Fujikura rates it mid launch, mid spin, mid bend point and calls it ideal for all swing types. It is a 40.5" one-length blank with a 0.370" parallel tip, in the 65, 75, 85 and 95 series from R2 to S flex.
Before you order: each shaft is a 2-iron-length blank that gets tip- and butt-trimmed for the iron it goes in. Order one per club, or let our Retrofit Service cut and install them.
Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Want graphite that builds to steel swing weights at steel lengths
- Want a mid launch and mid spin
- Want to choose from 70 g to 95 g in R2, R or S
- Have irons with a 0.370" parallel-tip hosel
Not the right fit if you...
- Want a lower launch and lower spin: the Pro 95 Tour Spec is rated low-mid for both
- Want a heavy graphite shaft over 115 g: see the Pro 115 Tour Spec
- Want Fujikura's VeloCore iron shaft: see the Axiom 0.370"
- Are not sure which tip your irons take: take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz first
How It Plays
HDCC. Fujikura's High Density Composite Core produces dialed-in swing weights at steel length.
Mid launch, mid spin. Fujikura rates every Pro Iron build mid for launch, spin and bend point, and calls it ideal for all swing types.
One-length blanks. Every Pro Iron is a 2-iron-length (40.5") blank, which gives fitters the option to soft-step or hard-step a shaft to reach an in-between flex.

The statement that Fujikuras shafts can’t be tapered to fit .355 is not correct. I have a message direct from Fujikura saying any of their charter dealers would do it.
Hi Stefan,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for sharing that information directly from Fujikura! We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
You're right that highly skilled club builders, particularly Fujikura Charter Dealers, do have the expertise and tools to perform very precise custom modifications, which could include tapering a shaft.
Our general guidance, however, stems from our commitment to strict adherence to manufacturer specifications for shaft integrity and warranty. Modifying a parallel tip shaft (which most iron shafts are, unless specifically manufactured as .355" taper tip) down to a .355" taper can sometimes compromise the shaft's intended integrity or alter its flex profile in a way that isn't consistent with its original design and can also void manufacturer warranties if not done precisely by the manufacturer's authorized specialists.
Because of this, and to ensure we always provide shafts that perform as designed and maintain their warranty, our standard practice at Grips4Less is to only offer shafts as they are manufactured. If a shaft is designed as a .370" parallel tip, we don't offer to taper it down to .355". We recommend using shafts that are natively .355" taper tip if that's what your irons require, to ensure the best fit and performance integrity.
We appreciate your understanding of our policy, which is aimed at ensuring the quality and safety of the products we provide.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or if we can help you find a Fujikura shaft that is natively a .355" taper tip if that's what you're looking for.
