WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Fujikura Pro 95 Tour Spec is the firmer, lower-flight version of the Pro 95 graphite iron shaft. Fujikura rates it low-mid launch and low-mid spin with a mid-high bend point, and its High Density Composite Core (HDCC) lets it reach steel swing weights at steel length. It comes as a 0.370" parallel-tip, 40.5" one-length blank in Tour S (96 g) or Tour X (97.5 g).

Before you order: each shaft is a 40.5" one-length blank with a 6" parallel tip section, trimmed to fit each iron. Order one per club, or let our Retrofit Service cut and install them.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want graphite in your irons with a lower, more controlled flight
  • Want a graphite iron shaft around 96 to 97.5 g
  • Swing with Tour Stiff or Tour X speed
  • Want blanks you or your builder can soft- or hard-step to an in-between flex

Not the right fit if you...

  • Want a heavier Tour Spec shaft: the Pro 115 Tour Spec is 116.5 to 117 g
  • Want a mid launch and mid spin graphite iron: look at the standard Pro Iron
  • Have 0.355" taper-tip irons and want a shaft made for each iron: the Axiom 0.355" is pre-tapered
  • Need R or R2 flex: the Pro 95 Tour Spec comes in Tour S and Tour X only

How It Plays

High Density Composite Core. Fujikura says HDCC gives the Pro irons dialed-in swing weights at steel length, and it describes the Pro line as suited to all swing types.

Low-mid launch and spin. Fujikura rates both Tour Spec builds low-mid launch and low-mid spin with a mid-high bend point. The standard Pro 95 (R and S) is rated mid launch, mid spin and a mid bend point.

One-length blanks. Every Pro iron shaft comes as a 2-iron length blank (40.5"). Fujikura says this gives fitters the option to soft- or hard-step the set to reach an in-between flex.

Will It Fit Your Irons?

This shaft is for irons with a 0.370" parallel-tip hosel. Every Pro 95 Tour Spec is the same 40.5" blank, so the tip and butt are trimmed for each iron in the set. Order one shaft for each iron you are reshafting. How much you trim from the tip changes how stiff the shaft plays, which is how fitters soft- or hard-step a set.

Not sure which tip your irons take? Take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz, or let us cut and install them with our Retrofit Service.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the Pro 95 Tour Spec weigh?

Fujikura lists the raw 40.5" shaft at 96 g in Tour S and 97.5 g in Tour X. Trimming to length takes some weight off.

Tour S or Tour X?

Tour X is the stiffer of the two (Fujikura tip and butt ratings of 38 / 37 vs 42 / 40) with slightly lower torque (2.7 vs 2.8). Fujikura does not publish a swing-speed range, so many players match the flex of their current steel shafts. Take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz or contact us before ordering.

How is it different from the standard Pro 95?

The standard Pro 95 (R and S, 95 g) is rated mid launch, mid spin and a mid bend point. The Tour Spec is firmer, with a mid-high bend point and low-mid launch and spin.

What does HDCC do?

High Density Composite Core is Fujikura's own core material in the Pro iron line. Fujikura says it produces dialed-in swing weights at steel length.

Does it fit 0.355" taper-tip irons?

This shaft is a 0.370" parallel tip. Taper-tip irons need a 0.355" shaft such as the Axiom 0.355". Ask your club builder or contact us if you are not sure what your irons take.
