WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Pro Orange is a counterbalanced low-launch, low-spin driver shaft. Mitsubishi adds tungsten powder to the handle to move weight toward your hands, uses 1K carbon fiber there for stability, and reinforces the tip side with MR70. We sell it in the 50, 60, 70 and 80 series, R to TX flex. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Like the feel of a counterbalanced shaft
- Want a low launch and low spin
- Want a very firm mid section with a firm tip
- Swing about 81 mph or faster: Mitsubishi fits R at 81-90 mph, S at 91-105 mph, and X or TX above 106 mph
Not the right fit if you...
- Swing under 80 mph: Mitsubishi doesn't recommend a 1K Pro Orange flex below that speed
- Prefer a standard balance point: the TENSEI 1K Pro White and TENSEI 1K Black are not counterbalanced
- Need more launch: the TENSEI 1K Pro Blue is the mid-launch 1K Pro
How It Plays
Mitsubishi rates the 1K Pro Orange low launch, low spin, with a flex profile of medium butt, firm-plus mid and firm tip and a high kick point.
Orange is the color Mitsubishi uses for counterbalanced TENSEI shafts. Extra weight and material sit in the handle, which Mitsubishi says increases activity toward the tip for more club head speed. On the 1K Pro Orange that weight comes from tungsten powder in the handle, alongside 1K carbon fiber to cut ovalization and deformation under load. MR70 strengthens the tip side, and the Xlink Tech resin raises carbon fiber content without giving up strength.
Mitsubishi's own advice: anyone who likes the feel of counterbalance and is also looking for a bit of speed should try the 1K Pro Orange.
