WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Double Bend Steel Putter Shaft is a steel replacement shaft for face-balanced mallet putters and some blade-style putters with a 72-degree bore angle. It is 35" long, weighs 120 g, and has a 0.370" tip and 0.600" butt. The two bends build offset into the shaft, which sets the hands ahead of the ball at address.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Play a face-balanced mallet putter built for a double bend shaft
  • Have a putter with a 72-degree bore angle and a 0.370" hosel bore
  • Want offset built into the shaft so your hands sit ahead of the ball
  • Want a steel replacement shaft at a standard 35" length

Not the right fit if you...

  • Have a putter head designed for a straight shaft: look at the KBS CT Tour Straight
  • Need a left-handed version: the True Temper Double Bend comes in RH or LH
  • Need a 0.355" tip: this shaft comes in 0.370" only, so check your hosel bore before ordering
  • Play a putter longer than 35"

How It Feels

Offset from the shaft. Instead of entering the hosel straight, the shaft runs through two bends before it meets the putter head. That builds offset into the shaft, which moves the hands forward at address. Double bend shafts are the usual match for face-balanced mallets.

Standard steel weight. At 120 g it sits between the 115 g Triple Bend and the 124 g KBS CT Tour, so it should keep your putter's weight close to where it was with a stock steel shaft.
