WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Autoflex AutoPower KHT Hybrid is the hybrid version of Autoflex's KHT line, made for hybrids. Autoflex calls KHT a tour-level and advanced-level line and says its T1100 material keeps the shaft from distorting and transfers power at impact. It comes in five versions, 407+ to 607+, each matched to a driver club speed range from 60 to 115 mph. This is the uncut shaft: 41" raw length with a 0.370" tip, from 52 g to 72 g.

Want it ready to play? Get it assembled

This listing is the uncut shaft only. Order the assembled AutoPower KHT Hybrid and we build it to your specs, ready to plug into your hybrid:

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Play an AutoPower KHT in your driver or woods and want the same line in your hybrid
  • Are a club builder or DIY builder who needs an uncut shaft to tip and cut yourself
  • Want a light hybrid shaft, 52 to 72 g
  • Like choosing a version by driver club speed, from 60 to 115 mph

Not the right fit if you...

  • Want to screw it straight into an adjustable hybrid head: get the assembled version with the adapter installed
  • Want launch and spin ratings or a torque figure to compare: Autoflex publishes neither for this shaft
  • Aren't sure which version fits: browse our Golf Shaft Guides or take the 2-Minute Shaft Quiz

How It Plays

Autoflex designed the KHT line for professional and advanced players looking for performance and shot precision. It says T1100 material minimizes shaft distortion and puts more of your power into the ball at impact.

Pick the version by club speed. Autoflex lists five versions from the 407+ (52 g, 240 cpm, 60 to 80 mph) to the 607+ (72 g, 300 cpm, 105 to 115 mph). The hybrid version is heavier and stiffer than the KHT fairway and driver shafts, with a 0.370" tip and a 41" raw length.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which version should I choose?

Autoflex matches each version to driver club speed: 407+ for 60 to 80 mph, 503+ for 80 to 95 mph, 505+ for 90 to 100 mph, 507+ for 95 to 105 mph and 607+ for 105 to 115 mph.

Is it the same shaft as the KHT driver or fairway?

No. The hybrid version has its own specs: a 0.370" tip, 41" raw length and 52 to 72 g, heavier and stiffer than the driver (46 to 66 g) and fairway (49 to 67 g) versions.

How much should I tip trim it?

Autoflex says no tip trim for a 3 or 4 hybrid and 0.5" for a 5 hybrid, then cut the butt to length.

Is this shaft ready to install in my hybrid?

No. It's the uncut shaft with no adapter or grip. If you want it ready to play in an adjustable hybrid, order the assembled AutoPower KHT Hybrid with your adapter tip and grip installed.

What is T1100?

It is the carbon fiber material Autoflex uses in the KHT line. Autoflex says it minimizes shaft distortion and improves power transfer at impact.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • How do you know which shaft. I currently have orrigional autoflex 505 on my driver. What shaft for titalist hybrid 4?

    Hi Steve,

That is a great question! Autoflex is designed to work as a "system," so matching your hybrid to your driver is exactly the right approach.

The Recommendation: Since you are currently using the Autoflex SF505 in your driver, the best match for your Titleist 4-Hybrid is the Autoflex KHT 505.

    Why the KHT 505?

    • Flex Consistency: The "505" designation in the Autoflex lineup is designed for players with similar swing speeds across their bag. If the 505 driver shaft feels stable and "whips" correctly for you, the KHT 505 hybrid shaft will provide that same timing and feel.

    • Weight Profile: The KHT 505 is slightly heavier than the 405, which helps with the shorter length and heavier head weight of a 4-hybrid, ensuring you don't lose the "feel" of the clubhead during your transition.

Titleist Compatibility: Your Titleist Hybrid 4 (whether it is a TSR, TSi, or G series) uses a .370" tip diameter, which matches the KHT Hybrid shaft perfectly.

Quick Tip for the Build: If you decide to order, make sure to let us know if you want the Titleist SureFit adapter installed. For a 4-hybrid, we typically recommend 0.5" of tip trimming to account for the head weight, though some players prefer 0" trimming to keep it as "active" as the driver.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about your swing speed or the build!

    Best regards,

    Jim Grips4Less
