INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

We do not accept any international returns at this time.

At Grips4less, we strive to provide a smooth international shopping experience. To ensure clarity regarding shipping, duties, and returns, please review our policy below:

  • If an international order is refused or the required duties/taxes remain unpaid, the carrier may return the package to us.
  • In such cases, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs, including outbound and return shipping fees.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The JumboMax JMX JumboFlat XL 17" is an armlock putter grip with a wide, flat face that rests against your lead forearm. It's 16.9" long, 1.62" at its widest and 125 g, and it tapers along its length so it lies flat on your arm through the whole stroke. The back is rounded to fit your fingers, and we stock it in Team USA (red, white and blue), White/Black/Silver and Black/Silver.

Fitting it to your putter: armlock putting needs a putter long enough to reach your lead forearm, usually a few inches longer than your old one. Shopping for the putter side too? See our putter shafts or compare every long putter grip we carry.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Putt with an armlock, or want to try it
  • Want a big, flat surface that sits flush on your forearm
  • Fight a breaking lead wrist and want something that keeps it flat
  • Like a rounded back that fills your fingers

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

The flat face does the work. The front of the grip is wide and flat, so it sits flush against your lead forearm instead of rolling around on it. Once it's locked in, your lead wrist has nowhere to go, and the putter moves with your arms.

Tapered to stay in contact. The grip narrows along its length, which lets it lie flat on your arm from the top of the grip down. You don't feel a gap open up halfway through the stroke.

Fills your fingers. The back side is rounded and has a tacky outer layer, so your fingers wrap around it naturally while the flat side handles your arm.

Line up the flat side before the solvent dries. The flat face goes against your lead arm, so it has to point where your forearm sits at address, not just square to the putter face. Set up with the putter, check it, then let it cure. It slides on a .580" core, and it fits any putter shaft that's .600" or smaller through the top 17". At 125 g it's a lot heavier than a typical putter grip, so the head will feel lighter; that's normal for armlock setups.

Frequently Asked Questions

What length putter do I need?

The grip will fit any putter as long as the shaft is .600" or smaller through the top 17". To actually armlock, though, the putter has to be long enough for the grip to reach your lead forearm, which usually means a few inches longer than a standard 33" to 35" putter.

Which side goes against my arm?

The flat side. It rests against your lead forearm and wrist, and the rounded back is for your fingers.

How is it different from the ArmLock 21?

The ArmLock 21 is longer at 21" and comes in a pistol or round shape. The JumboFlat is 16.9" with a wide, flat face built to sit flush on your arm.

Will it fit my current putter?

It has a .580" core, which matches most putter shafts. If your shaft is thinner at the top, add a wrap or two of tape so it doesn't spin.

How do I keep it tacky?

Wipe it down with warm, soapy water, rinse it, and let it air dry. Sweat, dirt and sunscreen are what make a grip feel slick, and a quick wash brings the tack back.
