“Great easy custom building of a driver shaft, I love it. Got a stiffer shaft, came in on time for my tournament and I just won the club championship with it this weekend.”

The length you pick is the shaft alone, from the end of the adapter tip to the end of the grip, with the head off. With the head on, a driver plays about 1 to 1.5 inches longer.HEAD OFF: THE NUMBER YOU PICKHEAD ONADAPTER TIP TO GRIPDRIVER PLAYING LENGTH: ABOUT 1 TO 1.5" LONGER

    How length works

The length you pick is the shaft alone with the head off, from the end of the adapter tip to the end of the grip. With the head on, a driver plays about 1 to 1.5" longer, so don’t pick your playing length.

    1. STANDARD LENGTH builds a driver or mini driver to your model’s stock length.
    2. A number matches a shaft you already like. Take the head off, measure that shaft end to end and pick the same number. Fairway woods and hybrids use a number.
    3. LEAVE UNCUT keeps the shaft full length, and you choose whether we install the grip.

    Questions

    Assembled shaft FAQ

    What is an assembled shaft?

A driver, fairway wood or hybrid shaft that comes with the adapter tip for your club already installed, cut to the length you choose and fitted with your grip. It screws straight into your adjustable clubhead with your club’s own wrench.

Will an assembled shaft fit my club?

If your driver or fairway wood has an adjustable hosel and its brand is on our adapter list, yes. Use the shaft builder above: pick your club, brand and model, and we fill in the right adapter, setting and length for you. Model not on the list? Choose “My model isn’t here”, type your model and keep going. If our build team has any questions, we’ll give you a call.

    What length should I choose?

The length on the shaft’s page is the shaft alone with the head off, from the end of the adapter tip to the end of the grip. With the head on, a driver plays about 1 to 1.5" longer, so don’t pick your playing length. For a driver or mini driver, STANDARD LENGTH builds it to your model’s stock length, and the builder sets it for you. To match a shaft you like, take the head off, measure that shaft end to end and pick the same number. Our measuring guide shows how.

    Which setting should I pick?

The builder sets the standard setting for you (left-handed Titleist: D4 (LH Standard)). If your club is set differently, pick the one it’s on now. Cleveland lists lofts, so pick the loft your club is set to. Callaway and Krank have no setting step: adjust loft and lie with your own wrench once it arrives.

Do I need glue or a wrench?

No glue: the adapter tip is epoxied and cured in our shop, and it comes with a new screw. We don’t include a wrench, so tighten it with the one that came with your club.

What kind of adapter do you use?

OEM-compatible adapter tips, made to fit your club’s hosel and settings, in right- and left-handed versions for most models. The shaft builder picks the right one for your model.

    How long will it take?

Most orders leave our shop 1 to 2 business days after you order, once we have every detail, and delivery usually takes 3 to 10 business days in total, depending on where it ships. Need it sooner? Add Rush Assembly at checkout: rush orders placed before 2pm Pacific, Monday to Friday, ship the same day.

    Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every assembled shaft has a 1-year workmanship warranty from the day it’s delivered. If a problem comes from how we built it, we repair, rebuild or replace the affected component at no charge, and if a part fails, we help you with the maker’s warranty claim. To start a claim, just contact us: text (408) 475-7570 or call (818) 725-9720, ext. 1.

Can I return an assembled shaft?

No. Each one is custom built to order, so assembled shafts can’t be returned. Our 1-year warranty covers our workmanship. If you’d like a second look at your adapter, setting or length, text us at (408) 475-7570 or send us a message before you order.

Can I use a grip that isn't on the list?

Yes. Choose OTHER (add to cart) under Grip Brand, add that grip to your cart as its own item, and we’ll install it on your shaft. Prefer to grip it yourself? Choose LEAVE UNGRIPPED.

Do you build hybrid shafts, or reshaft irons and glued clubs?

Yes. Assembled hybrid shafts work the same way, with their own adapter lists. For irons, wedges, putters and glued drivers, fairways or hybrids, our Retrofit service installs new shafts in the heads you already play.
