Build Your Setup
Choose the club, the shaft and the grip. We add everything to your cart with your Retrofit specs.
Want a completely new setup? Shop our custom assembled shafts. We assemble any driver, fairway or hybrid shaft to your exact playing length with your choice of grip. The adapter and grip are installed free, so it arrives plug and play.
1. Which club do you want to change?
Tell us about your club and we’ll show the parts that fit it.
How is your driver set up?
Not sure? Look where the shaft meets the head. A small screw on the bottom of the head means it has an adapter. Still not sure? Ask us or call or text (408) 475-7570.
Shop assembled driver shafts for your brand
Pick the brand of your driver. You’ll choose the shaft, length and grip on the product page, and it arrives plug and play.
Moving the shaft you have into a different head? We check those first, because a glued shaft is usually cut for its current head. Call or text (408) 475-7570 or ask us.
Which irons do you have?
Pick the brand and model and we’ll only show shafts that fit your heads.
Does your putter take a straight shaft?
Look at the shaft just above the head. Bends in the metal neck of the head don’t count.
What tip size do your clubs take?
This is the size of the hole the shaft goes into, and it has to match exactly.
Which irons are you reshafting?
Pick them now and we’ll show your Retrofit labor cost and fill in your clubs for you.
2. Choose your shaft
Golfer favorites, or browse every shaft we carry.
Don’t see your club? Ask us and we’ll find the right adapter. Need a new shaft instead? Shop assembled shafts.
3. Check your clubs
Tell us how many clubs get this shaft.
4. Choose your grip
One grip per club. Our best sellers, or browse them all.
Leave ungripped: no grip installed. Choose this if you’ll put on grips yourself.
5. Retrofit details

Retrofit clubs are custom built to order and can’t be modified or cancelled once the order is placed. Due to the custom nature of this work, we do not accept returns or exchanges on custom clubs or shafts.
Delivery timeframe options for in stock shafts are 3-10 days and shown at checkout. If a part is not in stock, please allow extra processing time before work begins. Retrofit turnaround starts once your clubs arrive and all parts are available.
Add protection for your order while they’re in transit, subject to coverage limits and applicable terms.

FAQ
Reshafting Questions
How much does it cost to reshaft a golf club?
Retrofit labor is $25 per club, plus the shafts and grips you choose. There's no setup fee and no minimum. Shipping is paid by the customer both ways, and shipping protection is optional.
Which clubs do you reshaft?
Irons, wedges, putters and glued hybrids are reshafted. For drivers, fairway woods and adjustable hybrids, we install the adapter for your club's brand, on a new shaft or one you own, or fit a new adapter if you're switching brands.
How long does reshafting take?
We ship your clubs back 1 to 2 business days after they arrive. Most customers have their clubs back within 5 to 7 business days of placing their order. Turnaround starts once your clubs arrive and every part is in stock.
Can I mail my clubs in?
Yes. After you order, we email a shipping label once every part is in stock. Please don't ship before you hear from us. Local customers can also drop clubs off at our Chatsworth, California warehouse.
Do I send the whole club or just the head?
Either. Most people send complete clubs and we pull the old shafts here. If you send just the heads, give us your playing length in the Retrofit details.
What if I don't know which shaft I need?
Tell us your club model, the shaft you play now, and roughly how far you hit your 7-iron, using the form on this page or by calling (408) 475-7570. We'll suggest shafts that match and quote the full build before you send anything, free. We work from the information you give us; we don't do launch monitor testing or swing analysis.
Do I have to buy the shafts and grips from you?
Yes. That's also what lets us warranty the finished club, because we know exactly what went into it.
What does the warranty cover?
Our workmanship, for 90 days from the day your clubs are delivered back. If a problem is found to come from how we built the club, we repair, rebuild or replace the affected component at no charge. Shafts and grips may also carry their own manufacturer warranty, and we'll help with that claim where it applies. Damage from impact, abuse or work done by someone else afterwards isn't covered. Read the full warranty and service policy.
Can you match my current lengths and specs?
Yes. Choose standard length, keep your current lengths, or give us custom lengths in the notes. You can also choose your grip logo position and whether we return or dispose of the old parts.
Can I cancel after I order?
Retrofit clubs are custom built to order, so they can't be modified or cancelled once the order is placed, and custom work can't be returned once it's done.
Will my old shafts and grips be returned?
If you choose "Return it to me" in the Retrofit details, we send back what we remove. Existing shafts, grips and ferrules may not survive removal, and we're not responsible for parts that can't reasonably be removed intact.

Not sure which components to choose?
You never have to figure this out alone, and we never charge for advice. Tell us what you play now and what you’re after, or call (408) 475-7570.
