WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Project X Denali Blue is the mid-launch, mid-spin model in the original Denali driver and fairway shaft line. True Temper rates it medium trajectory and medium spin for a deliberate tempo, with a stable butt section and a straight taper mid section for a smooth feel. This is the uncut shaft: 46" raw length, 0.335" tip, in 5 options from Denali Blue 50 5.0 (55 g) to Denali Blue 70 TX (74 g).

Want it ready to play? Get it assembled

This listing is the uncut shaft only. Order the assembled Denali Blue and we build it to your specs, ready to plug into your driver or fairway wood:

  • Built for your club: driver, mini driver or fairway wood
  • Your adapter tip installed: Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Krank, Mizuno, Ping, PXG, Srixon, TaylorMade, Titleist, Tour Edge or Wilson, with your hosel setting
  • Cut to your length: the standard length for your head model, a custom length (42" to 46.5" driver, 38.5" to 43.5" fairway), or left uncut
  • Your grip installed: Golf Pride, SuperStroke, Iomic or JumboMax, logo up or down, with up to 5 wraps of tape

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want a mid flight and mid spin: True Temper rates the Denali Blue medium trajectory and medium spin
  • Have a smooth, deliberate tempo
  • Swing about 92 to 105 mph (Grips4Less fitting guidance)
  • Are a club builder or DIY builder who needs an uncut shaft

Not the right fit if you...

  • Need more height and carry: True Temper rates the Denali Red high trajectory and high spin
  • Want to bring launch and spin down: look at the Denali Black (rated low trajectory and low spin)
  • Want it ready to install in an adjustable driver or fairway: get the assembled Denali Blue

How It Plays

Stable butt, straight taper mid. Project X says Denali came from 18 months of blind testing between its Tour team and engineers. A stable butt section gives confidence in the hands and a straight taper mid section gives a smooth energy transfer.

Mid launch, mid spin. True Temper rates the Denali Blue medium trajectory and medium spin for a deliberate tempo. The builds we sell run from 55 g in the 50 series to 74 g in the 70 series TX, with torque from 4.8 down to 2.7.
