This is the uncut shaft: 46" raw length, 3.0" parallel tip, in 7 options from C6 Red 40 R2 (49 g) to C6 Red 70 S (72 g).

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Need help getting the ball in the air: Mitsubishi rates the C6 Red high launch and mid+ spin
  • Still like a stable tip: TiNi wire in the tip resists ovalizing under load
  • Swing up to 105 mph: Mitsubishi fits R2 under 80 mph, R at 81 to 90 and S at 91 to 105
  • Are a club builder or DIY builder who needs an uncut shaft

Not the right fit if you...

  • Swing over 105 mph or need X flex: the C6 Red is made in R2, R and S
  • Want a lower flight: Mitsubishi rates the C6 Blue mid+ launch and mid spin with a high kick point
  • Want it ready to install in an adjustable driver or fairway: get the assembled C6 Red

How It Plays

TiNi wire. Mitsubishi orients Titanium Nickel (TiNi) wire, a memory metal that resists deformation and works to return to its resting shape, at 45 degrees in the tip section. Mitsubishi says this helps the shaft resist ovalizing under load and helps the golfer return the face to impact squarely.

High launch, mid+ spin. Mitsubishi rates the C6 Red high launch and mid+ spin with a mid kick point and a firm butt, medium mid and medium+ tip. The firm handle and softer mid section give it feel, and torque drops from 6.6 in the 40 series to 4.7 in the 70 series.
