Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Launch the ball too high or spin it too much
  • Swing about 80 mph or faster
  • Want a stable, low-torque shaft
  • Want a heavier option, up to 88 g in the 8 series

Not the right fit if you...

  • Need help getting the ball up (see the Lin-Q Blue or Red)
  • Need A flex or a shaft under 65 g
  • Need tour X flex
  • Swing under 80 mph

How It Plays

UST rates the Lin-Q PowerCore White low launch and describes it as low spin. Each Lin-Q color is built on its own mandrel with its own materials and layup, so the White's flatter flight comes from the design rather than just a stiffer flex.

UST's Q-Ply material and nano resin system aim for consistent launch and feel, and PowerCore adds multi-axis stability and hoop stiffness. Weights run 65 to 88 g, with torque from 3.7 (6 R) down to 2.9 (8 series).

Frequently Asked Questions

What swing speed is the Lin-Q PowerCore White for?

UST's driver swing speed recommendations: R 80 to 95 mph, S 90 to 105 and X over 105.

What do F3, F4 and F5 mean?

They are UST flex codes: F3 is regular, F4 is stiff and F5 is x-stiff. We build the 6 and 7 series in F3 to F5 and the 8 series in F4 or F5.

How is the White different from the Lin-Q Blue?

UST rates the White low launch and the Blue mid launch; both are described as low spin. Pick the White if you hit it too high, the Blue for a more neutral flight.

Yes. Select the fairway wood option and your adapter when adding to cart. Fairway builds can be cut from 38.5" to 43.5" adapter tip to grip, or built to the standard length for your head.

What's included with this assembled shaft?

The shaft arrives with your OEM-compatible adapter tip installed (Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Krank, Mizuno, Ping, PXG, Srixon, TaylorMade, Titleist, Tour Edge or Wilson; see all shaft adapters) and your chosen grip installed. Club head is not included. Just attach to your driver or fairway wood head and play. See full assembled shaft details.

Can I return an assembled shaft?

No. Each assembled shaft is built to your specs, so we can't restock it. Double-check your flex, length, grip and adapter before you order, and contact us if you'd like help confirming them.

Not sure which shaft is right for your game?

Text our shaft experts at (818) 473-9086 before you order. We've been fitting golfers since 1991 and are happy to talk through your swing speed, current shaft, and what you're trying to fix.
