The Speeder series enters a new era with the all-new Speeder NX. Completely redesigned from the ground up, this line introduces Fujikura’s exclusive Variable Torque Core (VTC) technology—an innovation developed through the advanced enso® motion-capture system.
Speeder NX is the first Fujikura shaft family to incorporate VTC, strategically adjusting torque in targeted sections of the shaft’s core. Combined with premium materials and a refined construction process, this design enhances stability, optimizes feel, and delivers more consistent performance throughout the swing.
Speeder NX Gold features a reinforced mid-section that boosts overall stability, promoting a lower launch and reduced spin while still preserving a smooth, responsive feel during the loading phase. Designed for players seeking added control without sacrificing feedback.

How It Compares
The Speeder NX Gold sits at mid launch and mid-low spin within the NX family — firmer through the mid-section than the Violet for players who want more control and a slightly more penetrating ball flight, without reaching the low-launch, low-spin position of the NX Green. Players who want more height and an easier, smoother feel should look at the NX Violet instead.

I was fitted with a Speeder NX Violet 50 R 45 inch long shaft on a Titleist GT1 10.0 driver head set to A1. I'm 66 years old and play to a +12. I hit it higher than I would like. Went back to the fitter and he took the loft down .75, but still hit high. Would changing to a Gold or Green Speeder help? If so, would a SR be a good fit in the same weight? BTY, love the feel og the Speeder NX line.
Yes, both the Green and Gold would bring your flight down, and both come in 50g SR. The Gold has a stiffer mid section that tends to produce the most noticeable reduction in launch and spin of the two. The Gold would be our first pick if you want to tame that ball flight a touch while staying in the NX family. All the new Speeder NX's have great feel, good power.
