    Questions & Answers

    Have a Question?

    Ask a Question
    • I noticed that the ust recoil shafts can be converted to .335. Can this shaft be tapered to .335 also?

Unfortunately, Fujikura shafts can't be tapered to fit 0.355" hosels. We have available 0.355" tip shafts here: https://www.grips4less.com/collections/golf-shafts-355-tip-size

Let us know if you have any questions!

    • Does this shaft come with grip installed

No, shafts do come with grip installed. You can purchase a grip separately here: https://www.grips4less.com/collections/in-stock-grips

    • What is the tip? I need a .355 for a Miura wedges. Thanks

All Fujikura iron shafts are 0.370" tip. You can find 0.355" tip shafts here: https://www.grips4less.com/collections/golf-shafts-355-tip-size

    • The statement that Fujikuras shafts can’t be tapered to fit .355 is not correct. I have a message direct from Fujikura saying any of their charter dealers would do it.

      Hi Stefan,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for sharing that information directly from Fujikura! We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

You're right that highly skilled club builders, particularly Fujikura Charter Dealers, do have the expertise and tools to perform very precise custom modifications, which could include tapering a shaft.

Our general guidance, however, stems from our commitment to strict adherence to manufacturer specifications for shaft integrity and warranty. Modifying a parallel tip shaft (which most iron shafts are, unless specifically manufactured as .355" taper tip) down to a .355" taper can sometimes compromise the shaft's intended integrity or alter its flex profile in a way that isn't consistent with its original design and can also void manufacturer warranties if not done precisely by the manufacturer's authorized specialists.

Because of this, and to ensure we always provide shafts that perform as designed and maintain their warranty, our standard practice at Grips4Less is to only offer shafts as they are manufactured. If a shaft is designed as a .370" parallel tip, we don't offer to taper it down to .355". We recommend using shafts that are natively .355" taper tip if that's what your irons require, to ensure the best fit and performance integrity.

We appreciate your understanding of our policy, which is aimed at ensuring the quality and safety of the products we provide.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or if we can help you find a Fujikura shaft that is natively a .355" taper tip if that's what you're looking for.
