WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Hybrid uses Nippon's Graphite On Steel Technology: an ultralight steel shaft bonded to graphite layers along its full length. Nippon designed it to combine the launch of graphite with the feel and dispersion of steel. We sell it in S, Tour S, X and Tour X. It arrives assembled with your choice of hybrid adapter and grip, ready to attach to your hybrid head.

How It Plays
Nippon bonds an ultralight steel shaft and thin graphite layers with a patented adhesive process. The steel resists twisting for directional stability, and the graphite balances weight and stiffness while keeping a solid feel.
Nippon says the result gives a higher trajectory and tighter dispersion than a plain steel or graphite hybrid shaft, with spin control from the thin overall structure.
The S and Tour S weigh 91 g with 2.8 torque, the X 101 g with 2.5 and the Tour X 112 g with 2.3.
