Based on the game-changing VENTUS Blue initially launched on global tours in 2018, the 2024 VENTUS Blue shaft is a mid-launch/low spin wood shaft with improved feel, consistency and speed for all golfers.
VELOCORE+ is the next generation of Fujikura’s ground-breaking proprietary technology. The technology is designed for ultimate clubhead stabilization and promotes consistent center-face contact, tightening dispersion and increasing control of the club throughout the swing. Featuring a re-engineered multi-material bias core, VELOCORE+ enhances the feel and performance of VENTUS with an additional premium bias core material, promoting even tighter dispersion and increased ball speeds.
How It Compares
The Ventus Blue is the most widely fit shaft in the Ventus VeloCore+ family — mid launch, low-mid spin, and stable enough for a broad range of swing speeds and tempo types. Players who need more height and carry should look at the Ventus Red, while those needing maximum spin suppression and the lowest ball flight should move toward the Ventus Black.

Do average golfers even benefit from Ventus?
Definitely. Any player looking for more stability, more consistency can benefit from the Ventus VeloCore+ technology. You don't have to be scratch handicap. Tour players rely on Ventus, but really it's a shaft that provides guardrails helping to launch straighter with more accuracy. It never feels whippy or uncontrollable. We don't often recommend it for beginners because of it's price point. But for anyone that cares about how the shaft feels and wants to improve their game, it's a solid investment.

I want to a 45" playing length in my Callaway Elyte. Should I order adapter tip to grip at 44" or 43.75"?
You can order the grip to adapter tip length to be 44.0" for your Callaway ELYTE.

I play a Callaway Epic Speed and want to play it at 45”. Would I need adapter to grip length at 44”?

Required Assembly Length (Tip to Grip): 43.75"
But if you still have the old shaft available , please follow the instruction below and measure it
Here are steps to measure your existing shaft for "Adapter tip to grip" length (which is what our club-builders need specified):
INSTRUCTIONS:- Unscrew bottom screw/bolt from club head- Remove the club head from the shaft- Lay the shaft on a flat surface- Measure from the bottom of the adapter tip to the end of the grip in inchesIf you are unable to do this measurement, or do not have an existing shaft there to measure just let us know and we will find a way to help. -
TSR2 Driver and wanting to go with the Blue 6s S. Want a final playing length of 44.5. I believe the shaft tip to grip should be 43.5, but want to confirm, please.
yes, this Titleist driver head add 1" to the final play length . so 43.5" is the correct tip to grip length .

The standard playing length for a TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver is 45.5 inches.

For the Titleist GT drivers, you'll want to select 44.5" as the shaft ("adapter tip to grip") length to be 44.5". This will equate to standard final playing length. Let us know if you have any questions or need assistance!
