WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Project X Denali G2 Frost Red is the higher-launching shaft in the Denali Frost family. True Temper rates it high trajectory, high spin for a deliberate tempo. Frost (Focused Rotational Stability) technology adds stability on off-center strikes, and high-modulus carbon fiber in the handle adds control. We sell it in the 40, 50 and 60 series. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Need more height and carry
- Have a smooth, deliberate tempo
- Want a lighter shaft: 48 g in the 40 series up to 65 g in the 60 series
- Want more stability on off-center hits
Not the right fit if you...
- Already launch the ball high or spin it too much: the Denali Frost Blue is rated medium trajectory, medium spin
- Have a fast, aggressive tempo
How It Plays
True Temper rates the Denali Frost Red high trajectory, high spin, built for a deliberate tempo. It's made for players who need help getting the ball up and carrying it.
Frost stands for Focused Rotational Stability. It's built to resist twisting through impact on off-center strikes, for tighter dispersion and a more consistent flight. True Temper places high-modulus carbon fiber in the handle section for more control without losing feel.
The 40 series weighs 48 g, the 50 series 53 to 55 g and the 60 series 64 to 65 g. Torque drops from 5.4 in the 40 series to 3.8 in the 60 series.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
How does this compare to the Hzrdus Red shaft in feel and launch?
Both come from Project X dna, with the same stable butt section and smooth feel. The Hzrdus red has more flex in the mid section which keeping a solid tip stiffness. It's great for aggressive swing tempos. Denali Red is more refined in feel and a bit more forgiveness. Similar launch and spin, but really designed for even tempo swings.
-
How is this different from the original Denali red?
The G2 Frost is an updated version of the original Denali Red. They have the same low-spin, high-launch profile, but the Frost version has new carbon fiber materials that help increase stability on shots you don't quite flush. So if your drive is slightly off-center, it flies straighter and stays closer to your target than it would with the original. The feel stays just as smooth. All in all, a little more forgiving when things aren't perfect.
