WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Apollo Standard Steel is a step-pattern steel iron shaft and a value choice for rebuilding irons. It comes in one R/S combo flex: the same shaft plays as a regular or a stiff depending on how much you tip trim. It weighs 125 g raw, with a 0.370" parallel tip and a 40" raw length you trim for each iron.

Before you order: each shaft is one 40" length that is tip trimmed for its iron and flex, then butt trimmed to playing length, so order one per club.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Are rebuilding irons and want a value steel shaft
  • Want a traditional step-pattern steel at about 125 g
  • Play regular or stiff flex
  • Have irons with a 0.370" parallel-tip hosel

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

Step-pattern steel. The Standard Steel has the stepped profile of a traditional steel iron shaft.

One shaft, two flexes. As an R/S combo, it is tip trimmed less to play as a regular and more to play as a stiff, so one stock shaft covers both.

Value pick. It is the budget steel option we carry for rebuilding or repairing irons.
