INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

We do not accept any international returns at this time.

At Grips4less, we strive to provide a smooth international shopping experience. To ensure clarity regarding shipping, duties, and returns, please review our policy below:

  • In such cases, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs, including outbound and return shipping fees.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Golf Pride Tour Velvet BCT Cord Standard is the Tour Velvet with brushed cotton cord woven through the rubber from cap to mouth. Full cord means firm feel and real traction when your glove is soaked. It fits hands 6.6" to 7.5" (men's M or M/L glove), weighs 50.5 g, and comes in black.

Not sure of your size? Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger, then check our grip size guide.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Have hands 6.6" to 7.5", or wear a men's M or M/L glove
  • Play in heat, humidity or rain more often than not. Cord keeps its bite when rubber gets slick.
  • Like a firm grip that tells you exactly where you hit it
  • Have tried the MCC and want cord in both hands, not just the top

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

It bites. Cotton cord fibers sit right at the surface, so when your hands are wet the grip grabs harder, not softer. In a summer round where a rubber grip gets greasy by the 12th hole, this one feels the same on 18 as it did on 1.

Firm, with feedback. The rubber blend underneath is the Tour Velvet compound, but the cord stiffens it up. You feel the strike clearly, good or bad. Players who like a soft, cushioned grip usually don't love it. Players who like to feel the club do.

Full-length texture. The plus-sign pattern runs the whole grip with cord throughout, so there's no spot where traction drops off.

Cord wears your glove. Full-cord grips are harder on gloves than rubber, and some golfers feel the texture through a thin glove on hot days. If that's you, the MCC Plus4 puts cord only in the upper hand. At 50.5 g this grip is 1 g heavier than a Tour Velvet Standard, so swapping between them won't change swingweight. Cord grips also don't need to be replaced on feel alone; replace them when the cord fibers go smooth, usually a full season or more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does BCT stand for?

Brushed cotton technology. The cotton cord is brushed after molding so the fibers stand up at the surface, which is what gives it the extra bite.

How is it different from the MCC?

The MCC puts cord in the upper hand only, with softer rubber below. This one is cord end to end. Same traction up top; firmer and grippier in the lower hand.

Is it too rough to play without a glove?

Most golfers wear a glove with it. Bare-handed it's fine for a few holes but the cord can rub on a long day.

Does it come in midsize?

Yes, the Tour Velvet BCT Cord Midsize at 61.7 g.

Will it fit my graphite shafts?

Yes. The 60 core fits any shaft with a standard 0.600" butt, steel or graphite.
