It uses VeloCore, Fujikura's multi-material bias core that stabilizes the clubhead through impact. We sell it in the 5 series X, 6 series S and 7 series S. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

How It Plays

Fujikura rates every original Ventus Black flex low launch, low spin, high bend point. Its profile is an ultra-stiff tip, stiff mid and ultra-stiff handle. The high bend point and stiff tip keep the flight down and the spin low, and the firm handle holds up under a hard transition.

VeloCore is Fujikura's multi-material bias core. It uses full-length Pitch 70 Ton carbon fiber, which Fujikura rates about 150% stronger and more stable than T1100G, with 40 Ton bias layers for feel. The goal is more stability through transition and impact, which means more ball speed and tighter dispersion when you miss the center.

The 5 X weighs 58 g with 3.3 torque, the 6 S 64 g with 3.4 torque, and the 7 S 77 g with 3.1 torque.

  • This Ventura black is with velocity technology, correct? And 6 series is stiff, correct?

    Yes, this Fujikura Ventus Black is the VELOCORE Technology version.

    Also, 6 Series refers to the shaft weight class (approximately 60 grams). The Stiff flex is selected separately, so if you choose 6 Series / Stiff, you'll receive a shaft in the 60-gram weight class with a Stiff flex.

    Ventus Black- low launch and low spin. Very firm and stable. Specialized for faster swings or players who hit too hard.
