The exceptionally engineered Ventus is designed to significantly tighten shot dispersion and maximize ball speed especially on off-center shots. Ventus is a Tour-inspired profile and the first to include Fujikura’s all-newVeloCore Technologyin an accelerated taper, ultra-stiff tip profile. Maximum energy transfer from the tip section boosts the clubhead’s performance and a straight taper design enhances loading and feel.

The table below shows the stiffness profile across three sections — tip, mid, and handle — for each Fujikura shaft model. Tip stiffness most directly affects launch and spin. Handle stiffness influences feel and load during the swing.

Profile stiffness scale from softest to firmest: Soft → Medium → Firm → Stiff → Ultra-stiff. Tip stiffness most directly influences launch angle and spin rate. A stiffer tip produces lower launch and lower spin. A softer tip produces higher launch and more spin.

The Ventus Red is the higher-launch option in the Fujikura Ventus family — built for golfers who want more height, easier carry, and a smoother overall feel through the swing. Where Ventus Black is designed to flatten ball flight for players creating too much spin, Ventus Red does the opposite: it helps players who consistently struggle to get the ball up and carry it far enough. The softer tip section makes it easier to load, which is why it tends to fit smoother tempo players and golfers with moderate swing speeds better than the Black or Blue.
