DESCRIPTION
Engineered for speed and backed by stability, Motore X features a reinforced bias core with a torsionally stiffened handle section that promotes faster ball speeds combined with thin layers of full-length bias plies that create a balanced torsional strength for stability. The result – a core paired with an accelerated taper that transfers more energy, boosting ball speeds for more distance while maintaining stability for tighter shot control.
A name known for high-performance and unrivaled feel by tour players and golfers worldwide – the all-new Motore X infuses a legendary brand with a decade of learnings for a new type of speed. Motore X = Multiply Your Speed!
Created in 2009 & 2010, the original Motore F1 and F3 models featured H.I.T. (High Inertia Tip) Technology – which refined the material needed for stiffness in the tip section and raised the balance point. The Motore series was a hit both on Tour and the aftermarket. Since their introductions we have continued to push the envelope of innovation through our learnings from enso research and developed new ways to enhance speed and stability in our performance shafts. Through thousands of unique swings and enso® analytics we have an unrivaled approach of combining the proper specifications within a design, enabling us to redefine the meaning of speed and stability in Motore X.
Motore X is designed utilizing Fujikura’s proprietary high-speed motion capture system, enso, focusing on two key performance metrics – faster ball speeds and stability at the moment of impact. Combined with an accelerated taper for more energy transfer, these findings brought to life a new way to speed.
Motore X Bend Profiles:

How It Compares
The Motore X comes in two profiles to suit different swing types — the F1 delivers low-mid launch and spin for faster, more aggressive swingers who want speed with a more penetrating ball flight, while the F3 sits at mid-high launch and mid spin for smoother tempos who want an explosive feel with more height. Players who want the same speed-focused identity with more modern VTC stability technology should look at the Speeder NX family, while those who need the tightest dispersion and lowest spin in the Fujikura lineup should move toward the Ventus instead.
Not sure which Motore X profile or Fujikura family fits your game? Our Fujikura Shaft Guide covers the full lineup, or compare every Fujikura family side by side in the Fujikura Wood Shaft Comparison Table.
Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Whats the benefit of the Motore over the Ventus Black? I have an aggressive swing, currently play a Cobra DS ADAPT.
The main benefits of the Motore X over the Ventus line come down to price, feel, and accessibility. Motore X has a slightly softer, smoother load that some aggressive swingers actually prefer over the firmer, more "locked-in" feel of Ventus (especially Black), since Ventus can feel overly stiff or boardy if you're not loading it hard enough. The Motore X still uses 40-ton carbon and a torsionally stiffened handle, so you get real performance — just without the premium cost of VeloCore+. For a lot of players, it's the 80/20 shaft: most of the ball-flight benefits of a tour shaft at a fraction of the cost, with a feel that's arguably more forgiving on tempo.
-
I am looking for a replacement shaft for my old Cobra driver using a Fujikura F1 55 S shaft which is no longer available, and plan on placing in new Taylor made head
The Motore X series is the next best option, and utilizes a lightweight yet strong modern carbon fiber to provide that same stability but with a much smoother "loading" sensation. Let us know if you have any questions or need help selecting the shaft options.
