WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Grafalloy ProLaunch Red is a 60 g class graphite driver shaft that True Temper rates high trajectory, high spin and moderate tempo. We build it in R, S and X flex, at 64 to 67 g. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Want more height and more spin from your driver
- Have a moderate tempo, neither very smooth nor very quick
- Want a 64 to 67 g shaft in R, S or X flex
- Want more launch without dropping to a light shaft
Not the right fit if you...
- Already hit the ball too high or spin it too much: the ProLaunch Blue is rated low trajectory, low spin
- Need a light shaft under 60 g
- Need TX flex: it is made in R, S and X only
How It Plays
True Temper rates the ProLaunch Red high on trajectory, high on spin and moderate on tempo. That puts it at the opposite end of the ProLaunch family from the Blue, which True Temper rates low and low.
The R and S builds share 3.0 torque, and the X drops to 2.8 with a slightly larger 0.610" butt. Weight climbs only 3 g from R to X, so the feel stays close across flexes.
If your drives come out flat and land short, this is the ProLaunch to try. If they balloon, look at the Blue.

How many grams is prelaunch red driver shaft?
The shaft by itself is 66 grams. Assembled with the adapter and grip, the weight will be around 140 grams.

I am looking to replace this shaft to fit a Callaway XR 16 head but I do not see the adapter listed. Can I get the adapter for this shaft?

Can I would like to purchase a 47 3/4 stiff taylormade sim 2 adapter
Hi Robert,
Yes, we can build the Grafalloy ProLaunch Red in Stiff flex with a TaylorMade SIM2 driver adapter.
I just want to confirm the length before you order, because 47 3/4" is unusually long and we do not want to cut or build the shaft incorrectly.
Do you mean:
47 3/4" finished playing length with the SIM2 driver head installed, or
47 3/4" measured from the end of the adapter tip to the end of the grip?Once you confirm which measurement you mean, I can tell you whether that length is possible with this shaft.
