🚫 No Returns or Refunds on Assembled Shafts
Please note that all assembled shaft orders are final. Due to the custom nature of this process, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on any assembled shafts. Each order is built to your specifications, and once assembly begins, we are unable to restock or resell the components.
We encourage you to double-check all specs (flex, length, grip, adapter, etc.) before placing your order. If you need help confirming details, our team is happy to assist before you check out.
Returns can be made on non-personalized items and non-assembled items within the US, 60 days after you've received the original order. Items are only accepted on unopened and unused products. Items must be returned in the original packaging.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
We do not accept any international returns at this time.
At Grips4less, we strive to provide a smooth international shopping experience. To ensure clarity regarding shipping, duties, and returns, please review our policy below:

Lost or Delayed Shipments
- Once an international order has shipped, we are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or other carrier-related issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Fujikura Ventus Blue with the original VeloCore is the mid-launch, low-spin profile of the first Ventus line, and the one that fit the most swings in the family. The tip is ultra-stiff, the midsection is stiff and the handle stays firm, so the head doesn't twist on you at impact and your misses stay in play. This is the raw shaft: 46" uncut, 3.0" parallel tip, 0.335" tip diameter, in 9 weight and flex options from a 5 R to an 8 TX. If you build your own clubs or have a shop you trust, this is the listing you want.
Not sure Blue is your profile? Take the 2-Minute Shaft Quiz or compare every profile in our Fujikura Ventus Shaft Guide.
This is the original VeloCore version. Fujikura's current Ventus Blue is built on VeloCore+, which adds another material to the multi-material bias core, aimed at tighter dispersion and more ball speed on mishits. The profile is the same mid launch and low spin, and the current version comes in 14 options including a 5 R2 and a 9 X. If you want the newest build, order the Ventus Blue VeloCore+. If you already play the original and want to match it, you're in the right place.
Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Want a mid flight with low spin and a face that stays square when you catch one off the toe
- Already play the original Ventus Blue, know the feel and want the same shaft, not the VeloCore+ update
- Like a firm handle you can load through transition without the tip giving way
- Build your own clubs or have a fitter who'll cut, tip and install it for you
Not the right fit if you...
- Need help getting the ball up or want more spin to hold it in the air. The original Ventus Red launches higher with a lower bend point
- Hit it high with a hard transition and want the flattest flight in the family. That's the original Ventus Black
- Want the newest construction with more weight and flex choices. The Ventus Blue VeloCore+ runs from a 5 R2 to a 9 X
- Want it cut to length with the adapter and grip already on, ready to screw into your driver. Order the assembled original Ventus Blue instead
How It Plays
Stable without feeling like a board. The firm handle lets you load it through transition, then the stiff tip takes over and holds the face. Coming off a softer stock shaft, expect the miss to get smaller before anything else changes. Once you trust it, you stop steering and start swinging through the ball again.
Mid launch, low spin, right in the middle of the original three. The Red launches higher with more spin and a low bend point. The Black flies lower and flatter with a high bend point. Blue sits between them with a mid bend point, which is why it fits so many different swings and tempos. You don't need perfect timing to get it to work.
The core is the whole point. VeloCore is a multi-material bias core that runs the length of the shaft and keeps the tip from twisting on off-center hits. The VeloCore+ version that replaced it adds one more core material to the same idea. The goal didn't change between the two: a square face and ball speed on the hits that aren't flush.
Picking a weight and flex, and what to tip
- Weight before flex. In the original Blue the 5 series is 58.5 to 59 g, the 6 series 65 g, the 7 series 76 to 77.5 g and the 8 series 84.5 to 86 g. If your current driver shaft is in the low 60s, start with the Blue 6. When you want more stability, go up a series before you go up a flex. The heavier shaft calms the head without making the whole club feel stiff.
- Not every flex in every weight. We stock the 5 in R and S, the 6 in R, S and X, the 7 in S and X, and the 8 in S and TX. If the combination you're after isn't here, the VeloCore+ Blue covers most of the gaps.
- The 8 series is a fairway weight. It's built for 3 woods and mini drivers. That's more weight than we'd recommend in a full-size driver, and the 8 TX in particular is a strong player's 3 wood shaft.
- Tip trimming. Fujikura's chart is 0" for a driver or 3 wood, 0.5" for a 5 wood, 1.0" for a 7 wood and 1.5" for a 9 wood, and every inch you tip is roughly one flex stiffer. Want to sit between S and X? Tip 0.5" and butt trim to length.

Graphite. Raw length 46", parallel tip section 3.0", tip diameter 0.335" (our measurement; Fujikura's chart never listed tip diameter). Tip flex and butt flex are Fujikura's stiffness ratings; within a model, the stiffer flex has the lower number.
Specs carried from our previous listing; Fujikura no longer publishes a chart for this version.
How the Original Ventus Family Compares
| Profile | Launch | Spin | Bend Point | Tip / Mid / Handle | Weights We Stock |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ventus Red | Mid-high | Mid | Low (9 X: low-mid) | Stiff / Firm / Ultra-stiff | 58 to 94 g |
| Ventus Blue (You're here) | Mid | Low | Mid | Ultra-stiff / Stiff / Firm | 58.5 to 86 g |
| Ventus Black | Low | Low | High | Ultra-stiff / Stiff / Ultra-stiff | 58 to 77 g |
Launch, spin, bend point and section stiffness are Fujikura's ratings for the original line, carried from our listings. The weight column is what we stock in the original VeloCore version, not Fujikura's full range. Want the Blue profile with Spread Tow fabric in the mid and handle? That's the original Ventus TR Blue. The whole brand lineup is in The Fujikura Shaft Guide.
