WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Fujikura Air Speeder in its original 2020 graphics is an ultra-lightweight driver shaft for slower swings. Fujikura rates it high launch, mid spin with a low bend point. This listing is the R2 (senior) flex at 44.5 g, the only build we carry in the original graphics. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

Not the right fit if you...
- Swing faster than about 75 mph: a 44.5 g senior flex can cost you control
- Need an R3, R or S flex: the current Air Speeder is built in all four
- Already launch the ball too high and balloon it: you need a heavier, more stable shaft
How It Plays
A lighter shaft is easier to swing faster, and more speed means more ball speed and carry. At 44.5 g this is one of the lightest driver shafts we build, and the R2 flex is the softest in Fujikura's original Air Speeder 40 line.
Fujikura rates it high launch, mid spin with a low bend point, so the shaft helps the ball up without the extra spin of the current Air Speeder, which Fujikura rates high spin.
Torque is 8.5, with a tip flex of 156 and a butt flex of 122 on Fujikura's scale. These are the original 2020 graphics (silver with the red Air Speeder logo), the version that came before the 2025 redesign.
