Will this shaft fit your irons?

Check before you buy. Takes about 20 seconds.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Mitsubishi MMT AMC Blue is a midweight graphite iron shaft with Mitsubishi's Metal Mesh Technology. Its AMC weighting keeps the long irons lighter and adds weight club by club into the scoring clubs, and Mitsubishi rates it mid launch, mid spin. This listing is the 85 series in R and S, sold one shaft per iron (3-iron to wedge) with a 0.355" tip.

Before you order: each shaft is made for one iron, so order one per club. See How Tapered (0.355") Tip Shaft Lengths Work.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want a midweight graphite iron shaft, from 73 g in the 3-iron to 90 g in the wedge
  • Swing a driver 81 to 105 mph: Mitsubishi fits the 85 R from 81 to 90 and the 85 S from 91 to 105
  • Like easier-launching long irons with heavier, steadier scoring clubs
  • Have irons with a 0.355" tip hosel and want a shaft made for each iron

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

Metal Mesh Technology. Mitsubishi builds a section of fine metal mesh into the tip section of the shaft. It says this gives the AMC Blue more stability and more consistent center-face strikes.

Weight that climbs through the set. The AMC layout keeps the longer irons light for easier swings, then adds weight toward the short irons for control. In R flex the 3-iron shaft weighs 73 g and the wedge 86 g; in S it runs 78 g to 90 g.

Mid launch, mid spin. Mitsubishi rates every AMC Blue build mid launch and mid spin with a mid kick point, and positions it for players who want a midweight shaft that blends easy long irons with precise scoring clubs.

Will It Fit Your Irons?

This shaft is for irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel. Order one shaft for each iron you are reshafting and pick the iron number in the dropdown: Mitsubishi makes each AMC Blue shaft for its iron, with its own weight and torque, so a 7-iron shaft is not meant to go in your 5-iron. If your irons take a 0.370" parallel tip, look at the MMT Parallel Iron instead.
