WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Graphite Design Tour AD VF ("Victory Force") is a low-to-mid launch, low-spin driver shaft made at Graphite Design's factory in Japan. Graphite Design gives it a firm butt, a stiff+ center and a very stiff tip, with Toray M40X carbon fiber in the butt and ultra-high modulus Toray T1100G from the middle through the tip. We sell the VF-4 through VF-8, R2 through TX. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

How It Plays
Graphite Design describes the VF profile as firm in the butt, stiff+ in the center and very stiff in the tip, built to promote low to mid launch angles and low spin rates. The very stiff tip keeps the head from kicking up through impact, which is where the flatter flight comes from.
The materials do different jobs. Toray M40X in the butt section supports a stiff but smooth-feeling kick point, and ultra-high modulus Toray T1100G from the middle through the tip adds stability and control without giving up the feel Graphite Design shafts are known for.
Every VF has a mid-high kick point, 0.335" tip and 3" parallel tip. Torque drops from 5.5 in the VF-4 to 2.8 in the VF-8 X.
