WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Mitsubishi MMT Scoring Wedge brings the same Metal Mesh Technology as the MMT iron shafts into your wedges. Mitsubishi rates it mid launch and mid spin. It has a 0.355" tip, comes as one 36" wedge shaft, and weighs 113 to 130 g across the 105 S, 105 TX and 125 TX.

Before you order: this is a single wedge shaft, so order one per wedge. Not sure about length or tip? Contact us first.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want more feel and shot-making from your wedges, which is what Mitsubishi built the Scoring Wedge for
  • Play MMT iron shafts and want wedges from the same family
  • Have wedges with a 0.355" tip hosel
  • Swing fast enough for S or TX: Mitsubishi fits the 105 S from 91 mph driver speed and both TX builds from 106 mph

Not the right fit if you...

  • Want a light wedge shaft: every build here weighs 113 g or more
  • Need shafts for your irons: the MMT Taper Iron (0.355") and MMT Parallel Iron (0.370") are made for that
  • Swing a driver under 91 mph: none of these builds is on Mitsubishi's chart for that speed. Take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz to find a better match

How It Plays

Metal Mesh Technology puts individually braided 304 stainless steel strands into the shaft's prepreg layers. Mitsubishi uses it to make the walls thinner, which it says improves feel and responsiveness, while the steel and carbon together keep launch and spin more consistent.

Built for the scoring clubs. Mitsubishi made the Scoring Wedge to bring Metal Mesh into the clubs you use around the green, for players who want more feel and shot-making from their wedges. It rates the shaft mid launch and mid spin.

Three builds. The 105 S (113 g) has a mid kick point. The 105 TX (117 g) and 125 TX (130 g) move it to mid-high. All three list 2.6° of torque.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Is this a Graphite shaft, Mitsubishi MMT TAPER Scoring Wedge Shaft - 0.355" Tip?

Yes, that's correct. The MMT Taper Scoring Wedge shaft is a graphite shaft, 0.355" tip.

  • Most wedge shafts are 37" uncut. Why is this model shorter?

The Mitsubishi MMT Taper Scoring Wedge Shaft is intentionally offered at a shorter raw length because it is specifically designed for scoring wedges.

The shorter length allows for proper installation and trimming for wedge applications while maintaining the intended shaft performance and balance.

  • What ferrule do you recommend using with this shaft and Vokey SM10 wedges?

    Hi Dan,

    Thanks for your question.

For the Mitsubishi MMT Taper Scoring Wedge Shaft (.355") installed in a Titleist Vokey SM10 wedge, I recommend using a standard black .355 taper ferrule. It provides a clean, factory-style appearance that closely matches the original Vokey build.

If you're looking to add a custom touch, we also offer a variety of decorative ferrules with colored rings that fit perfectly with this shaft and head combination.

Please let me know if you'd like a recommendation or help selecting a ferrule to match your wedges!

    Thanks,

    Jim
    Grips4Less

  • What's the length?

The Raw Length is 36 inches

  • How does this shaft differ from the standard MMT iron shaft?

A touch higher launch for short-game shots.
