WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The KBS 610 Wedge is a wedge-specific steel shaft that KBS built for a lower, more penetrating ball flight with controlled spin, so skilled players can hit knock-down and other workable shots into and around the green. It is sold as one 37" wedge shaft with a 0.355" tip in Regular (110 g), Regular+ (115 g), Stiff (120 g) or Stiff+ (125 g).

Before you order: this is a wedge shaft, so order one for each wedge you are reshafting. See How Tapered (0.355") Tip Shaft Lengths Work.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want a lower, more penetrating wedge flight
  • Hit a lot of knock-down and partial shots around the green
  • Want controlled spin rather than maximum spin
  • Have wedges with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel

Not the right fit if you...

  • Want a higher launch with added spin: the KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 has an active tip for that
  • Want your iron shaft carried into the wedges: KBS lists the KBS Tour and C-Taper for the PW and SW too
  • Are reshafting irons, not wedges: see our iron shafts
  • Are not sure which tip your wedges take: take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz first

How It Plays

Lower, penetrating flight. KBS says the 610 Wedge produces a lower, more penetrating ball flight with controlled spin.

Built for workable shots. KBS designed it as a wedge-specific shaft so skilled players can produce knock-down and other workable short-game shots more easily.

Four weights. KBS lists it from Regular at 110 g to Stiff+ at 125 g in 5 g steps, all 37" with a 0.610" butt, for the PW, GW, SW and LW.

Will It Fit Your Wedges?

This shaft is for wedges with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel. KBS makes one 37" length for the pitching, gap, sand and lob wedges, so order one shaft per wedge and pick the weight and flex in the dropdown. Note the 0.610" butt, a little larger than the 0.600" butt on most iron shafts, which can change how a grip fits.
