Will this shaft fit your irons?

Check before you buy. Takes about 20 seconds.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 110 is the sixth model in the Modus3 Tour line. Nippon increased the rigidity from the tip through the mid section and moved the balance point toward the tip (49.7%), so this lighter shaft has the feel of a traditional heavyweight. It weighs 105 g (R), 110 g (S) or 115 g (X), has a 0.355" taper tip, and is sold one shaft per iron from the 3-iron to the wedge.

Before you order: Nippon makes each shaft for one iron, so order one per club. See How Nippon Shaft Lengths Work.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want a lighter tour steel shaft that still feels heavy at impact
  • Are a strong player who wants to control trajectory with your own technique
  • Want directional stability with spin suited to approach shots
  • Have irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

Firm from tip to mid. Nippon designed the Tour 110 with increased rigidity from the tip through the mid section, so a golfer's skill can control the trajectory while the shaft keeps directional stability and the spin needed for approach shots.

Balance point near the tip. Nippon calls it the first Modus3 with a balance point in the 49% range. Combined with the light weight, it aims to give the feel of a traditional heavyweight shaft with more speed.

MSA design. Nippon's Multi-Step Adjustment process sets step shapes and wall thicknesses, which is how it places the weight toward the tip. Torque runs from 1.8 (R) to 1.5 (X), with the kick point toward the grip.
