  • I was fitted with a Speeder NX Violet 50 R 45 inch long shaft on a Titleist GT1 10.0 driver head set to A1. I'm 66 years old and play to a +12. I hit it higher than I would like. Went back to the fitter and he took the loft down .75, but still hit high. Would changing to a Gold or Green Speeder help? If so, would a SR be a good fit in the same weight? BTY, love the feel og the Speeder NX line.

    Yes, both the Green and Gold would bring your flight down, and both come in 50g SR. The Gold has a stiffer mid section that tends to produce the most noticeable reduction in launch and spin of the two.
