WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SHIPPING

CARRIERS
The default shipping carrier, unless otherwise specified by the customer-selected shipping option during checkout, will be FEDEX, UPS, OR USPS. If you are ordering shafts, we will need a physical address (non-PO box address). If your package is returned by the carrier, we will not re-ship it unless additional postage is paid.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY PACKAGE?
Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email with the tracking link from our shipping carrier. Please allow 24 hrs for the tracking link to be updated correctly. For orders shipped with First Class Standard Shipping, there will be no en-route updates aside from the initial carrier pick-up and final delivery update.

WHERE WILL MY ORDER SHIP FROM?
We ship every order from our 30,000 square foot warehouse in sunny Southern California. Our most common shipping carrier is with Fedex, UPS, and USPS (US and International), Fedex (US and International) and DHL (to GB).

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY (OUTSIDE THE US)
Yes, we do!  We offer competitive weight-based shipping rates with Fedex to almost countries outside the US. Orders going to Great Britain will be shipped with DHL or UPS.

Please note all prices are in $USD unless otherwise stated. And with some international orders, there may be additional duties/taxes based on YOUR COUNTRY'S regulations that you will be responsible for.

To find out your international shipping rate, please add your items to the Cart and begin the checkout process. After entering your shipping address, you will see a selection of shipping carriers and their respective costs depending on the service you select. Or contact us by e-mail with your full shipping address, and the items/qtys you'd like to order, and we can provide some shipping quotes for you.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

At Grips4less, we strive to provide a smooth international shopping experience. To ensure clarity regarding shipping, duties, and returns, please review our policy below:

Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees

  • International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by your country. These charges are the customer's responsibility and are determined by local customs authorities.
  • If duties and taxes are not paid upon delivery, the carrier may be unable to complete the shipment and may return the package to us.

Refused or Unpaid Shipments

  • If an international order is refused or the required duties/taxes remain unpaid, the carrier may return the package to us.
  • In such cases, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs, including outbound and return shipping fees.
  • Refunds for returned shipments will be issued minus all incurred shipping fees. In most cases, the return shipping cost will be higher than the order total. We will then send you an invoice for the difference to be paid.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

  • Once an international order has shipped, we are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or other carrier-related issues.
  • If a package is significantly delayed, we encourage customers to contact their local customs office or the carrier for more information.

By placing an international order (any order shipped outside the US), you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

RISK OF LOSS

All purchases of physical items from Grips4less are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!

60 Day Easy Returns

Change your mind? No problem. Our hassle-free returns portal lets you request a return and keep track of your refunds. Please note assembled shafts and custom built items are not eligible for return.

Due to strict inventory guidelines, we do not process "exchanges". We ask that you send the items back for a refund and then repurchase whatever you need! >> Access your order history here and start a request here.

RETURN COSTS & RESTOCKING FEE (NON-ASSEMBLED ITEMS)

There are no restocking fees. However the cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your refund ($7.5 for small/lite packages, $13 for standard size packages, $15 for non-standard size packages such as golf shafts), if you decide to use the label provided by us. If you purchase a label yourself from a local carrier office (ie. USPS, UPS, Fedex), then there will be no deductions from your refund. If the returned items are not in new and unused condition, we reserve the right to dispose of them or return them to you at your expense. You may purchase return shipping if you would like the items sent back.

RETURN COSTS & RESTOCKING FEE (ASSEMBLED ITEMS)

🚫 No Returns or Refunds on Assembled Shafts

Please note that all assembled shaft orders are final. Due to the custom nature of this process, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on any assembled shafts. Each order is built to your specifications, and once assembly begins, we are unable to restock or resell the components.

We encourage you to double-check all specs (flex, length, grip, adapter, etc.) before placing your order. If you need help confirming details, our team is happy to assist before you check out.

Returns can be made on non-personalized items and non-assembled items within the US, 60 days after you've received the original order. Items are only accepted on unopened and unused products. Items must be returned in the original packaging.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Mitsubishi MMT Taper Iron is a graphite iron shaft with Metal Mesh Technology: braided stainless steel strands built into the layers near the tip. Mitsubishi rates it mid launch and low spin. This listing is the 0.355" taper-tip version, sold one shaft per iron (3-iron to wedge) in seven weight series from 55 A to 125 TX.

Before you order: each shaft is made for one iron, so order one per club. See How Tapered (0.355") Tip Shaft Lengths Work.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want a graphite iron shaft built for straighter flight and more consistent strikes, which is what Mitsubishi designed the MMT for
  • Have irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel and want a shaft made for each iron, with no tip-trimming chart to follow
  • Want a wide weight range: from the 59 g 55 A up to the 125 series in S or TX
  • Like a mid launch with low spin, Mitsubishi's rating for every MMT Taper model

Not the right fit if you...

  • Have irons that take a 0.370" parallel tip: choose the MMT Parallel Iron instead
  • Want to buy a full matched set in one order: the MMT Taper bundle set is built for that
  • Want a high-launch, high-spin graphite shaft: the MMT Taper is rated mid launch, low spin. Take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz to find a better match

How It Plays

Metal Mesh Technology is the reason this shaft exists. Mitsubishi weaves individually braided 304 stainless steel strands into the prepreg layers toward the tip. The mesh adds density and stability there, so the rest of the wall can be thinner. Mitsubishi says the result is a responsive shaft that keeps launch and spin consistent and produces the center-face strikes good iron play needs.

Same build as the MMT Parallel. The taper version uses the same construction and materials as the MMT Parallel Iron, with a 0.355" tip and a gloss finish. Mitsubishi rates the line mid launch and low spin, with a mid kick point on most models and mid-high on the 105 TX and both 125 builds.

Pick by weight. Torque drops as weight goes up: 3.5° to 3.7° in the 55, 65 and 75, then 2.7° to 2.8° in the 105 and 125.

Will It Fit Your Irons?

This shaft is for irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel. Order one shaft for each iron you are reshafting and pick the iron number in the dropdown: Mitsubishi makes each taper shaft for its iron, so a 7-iron shaft is not meant to go in your 5-iron. If your irons take a 0.370" parallel tip, get the MMT Parallel Iron instead.

Not sure which tip your irons take, or how long each shaft should be? Read How Tapered (0.355") Tip Shaft Lengths Work, take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz, or let us install them with our Retrofit Service.

Which MMT weight and flex should I choose?

Mitsubishi's fit guide goes by driver swing speed: 55 A at 80 mph or under; 65 R and 85 R at 81 to 90 mph; 75 S, 85 S and 105 S at 91 to 105 mph; 105 TX and 125 TX at 106 mph and up. The 95 S and 125 S are not on the chart. Take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz or text our team before ordering.

What is the difference between the MMT Taper and MMT Parallel?

Same Metal Mesh construction, different tip. The taper version has a 0.355" tip and is made for one specific iron, so you order one per club. The parallel version has a 0.370" tip, comes in one 42" length and gets trimmed to fit each iron.

What launch and spin does the MMT Taper have?

Mitsubishi rates the MMT Taper line mid launch and low spin. The kick point is mid on most models and mid-high on the 105 TX, 125 S and 125 TX.

Is the MMT graphite or steel?

Graphite composite, with a woven layer of 304 stainless steel mesh near the tip. Mitsubishi uses the steel to add stability while keeping the composite walls thin.

  • Sent an earlier question. Specifically, they will be going in TaylorMade P790 TI heads I just bought. I'm going 1/2" over standard. So the 3 iron shaft will be going in the 4 iron, all the way down to A wedge. Is this doable, and again, how much. Need them right away. Thanks

    Hi,
You can actually use the same iron number because each shaft will have extra length for modification.  If you put a 3 iron into the 4 iron, you would be soft stepping the shaft:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4g5ngmZb7s is a great video to watch what is happening (it would be modifying the flex by "1/2" a flex).

  • Looking for a shaft for the mizuno es21. Should I go taper or parallel

We don't have information on the tip size for the Mizuno es21 irons - we'd recommend checking with the manufacturer to confirm.

  • Is the MMT 85 series S flex .355 taper iron shaft the same as the 80 series with the .370 parallel tip which PXG uses in their irons? Thank you

The shafts have similar specs. However since PXG irons use 0.370" tip shafts, you'll want to go with the matching MMT 0.370" tip iron shaft here: https://www.grips4less.com/products/mitsubishi-mmt-iron-shaft?variant=31659003019325

  • Mitsubishi MMT Taper Iron Shaft - 0.355" Tip. This shaft will fit on my Srixon Z585 forged Irons?

    Hi Manny,

Yes, the Mitsubishi MMT Taper Iron Shaft (.355" Tip) is compatible with the Srixon Z585 forged irons, as those irons use a 0.355" taper-tip hosel.

When ordering, simply select the appropriate shaft weight, flex, and iron number, and the shaft should fit your Z585 irons without any issue.

If you'd like, I can also help you choose the most suitable MMT model based on your age, handicap, ball flight, and current shaft.

    Best regards,

    Jim

  • You list the 95g as stiff, and I also see 125 in Tx & Stiff. Is that correct? I can’t find info on MMT website about those models. Thanks

Here is the link to Mitsubishi's website with the information on the shafts you are looking for ! https://mitsubishigolf.com/products/mmt-taper-irons

  • Is there a regular flex mmt 105?

    Hi Mark,

The MMT 105 is typically available in Stiff Flex and TX/X Flex, but not in Regular Flex.

If you're looking for a similar profile in a Regular Flex, I would recommend looking at the MMT 95 Regular, which offers many of the same benefits of the MMT series while being a better fit for players who need a Regular-flex shaft.

If you'd like, tell me your:

    • Age
    • Handicap
    • 7-iron distance
    • Current shaft (steel or graphite)

and I'd be happy to recommend the best MMT model and flex for your game.

    Thanks,

    Jim

  • What type of player is this shaft for?

Players who've been on steel and are thinking about making the move to graphite, but don't want to give up the feedback they're used to. Also a strong option for players dealing with arm or joint discomfort who need something lighter but don't want a shaft that feels spongy or vague.

  • What makes the MMT shaft different?

The MMT uses Mitsubishi's Metal Mesh Technology, which is braided strands of 304 stainless steel woven into the composite layers near the tip. Most graphite iron shafts either feel soft and imprecise or stiff and harsh. The metal mesh changes that. It adds density and stability at the tip without making the shaft feel boardy, which gives you a more consistent, steel-like sensation at impact while still keeping the weight down.

It feels responsive on solid strikes and doesn't go haywire on mishits.

  • What’s the profile launch and spin for this shaft?

Mid-launch, mid-spin. Speed range 80–106 mph. Available in 55g through 125g, Senior (A-flex) through Tour X-Stiff so there's an option for just about every iron player.

  • in the 55 series would the pitching wedge shaft also work for the utility wedge

Yes, it should work since utility wedges and pitching wedges are usually very close in shaft length.

  • Thinking of putting mmt shafts in a 50* and 56* wedge. Any difference in using the taper PW shaft compared to the wedge shafts ?

The MMT wedge have a bit higher spin and would be more suitable for 50 and 56+ degrees. The PW shaft has progressive spin/control to the iron set.

  • Do you tip prep these? Is that something that can or needs to be requested?

No, we don't to tip prepping. The shafts come raw/uncut.

  • Will these fit apex pro 21 irons

Yes, the Apex Pro 21 irons take 0.355" tip shafts, so these will fit.

Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi MMT Taper Iron Shaft (0.355" Tip)

$85.00 USD
