WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The UST Recoil Dart ESX is a lightweight graphite iron shaft that adds UST's ESX design to its DART technology for a steadier tip and a high launch. This listing is the 0.370" parallel-tip version in the 50 series (F1) and 60 series (F2, F3, F4), from 54 to 67 g. Each shaft comes in one length that you trim to fit.

Before you order: this is a parallel-tip shaft in one length that gets trimmed for each iron, so order one per club. Not sure about trimming? Contact us first.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want help getting the ball up: UST rates every ESX build high launch
  • Want a light iron shaft, 54 to 67 g, for more club speed
  • Play L, A, R or S flex (UST's F1 to F4)
  • Have irons with a 0.370" parallel-tip hosel, or want shafts you can trim yourself

Not the right fit if you...

  • Have irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel: look at the Recoil Dart 65 0.355", made for each iron
  • Want a heavier, players graphite shaft with lower torque: the UST Dart V runs 87 to 122 g
  • Need a stiffer flex than S: take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz to find a better match

How It Plays

ESX for a steadier tip. UST says its ESX design increases tip stability for more consistent, accurate shots, and also raises launch and ball flight.

DART inside. UST tunes hoop stiffness where it matters: more in the energy transfer section for distance, and more in the tip to keep feel while steadying it. Dual Action Recoil Technology removes inconsistent areas, which UST says avoids the dead feel some graphite iron shafts have.

Light weights. The 50 series F1 weighs 54 g. The 60 series runs 60 g (F2), 64 g (F3) and 67 g (F4), with torque from 4.2° to 4.6°.
