WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The UST Recoil Dart 90 is a graphite iron shaft built as a constant-weight tapered set: every iron weighs 90 g. UST designed Recoil Dart for consistency, feel and precise ball flight, and rates it mid launch. This listing is the 0.355" taper-tip version, sold one shaft per iron (2-iron to pitching wedge) in F3 (R) and F4 (S).
Before you order: each shaft is made for one iron, so order one per club. See How Tapered (0.355") Tip Shaft Lengths Work.
Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Want a light graphite iron shaft at 90 g through the whole set
- Swing a driver 80 to 105 mph: UST fits F3 from 80 to 95 and F4 from 90 to 105
- Want a mid launch, UST's rating for every Recoil Dart 90 build
- Have irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel and want a shaft made for each iron
Not the right fit if you...
- Want a heavier Recoil Dart or an F5 flex: the Recoil Dart 105 weighs 106 g in F4 or F5
- Want a players graphite shaft with lower torque: the UST Dart V runs 87 to 122 g
- Swing a driver under 80 mph: take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz to find a better match
How It Plays
Hoop stiffness where it counts. UST designed Recoil Dart to optimize hoop stiffness in the critical areas of the shaft: more in the energy transfer section for distance, and more in the tip to keep feel while steadying the tip for consistent ball flight.
Dual Action Recoil Technology. UST says DART removes inconsistent areas in the shaft, and its Recoil Technology gives a spring effect in the shaft walls for more efficient energy transfer, consistency and trajectory control.
Constant weight, two flexes. Every shaft weighs 90 g. Torque runs from 3.0° in the long irons down to 2.5° (F3) and 2.3° (F4) in the wedge.

Will It Fit Your Irons?
This shaft is for irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel. Order one shaft for each iron you are reshafting and pick the iron number in the dropdown: UST makes each taper shaft for a specific iron, so a 7-iron shaft is not meant to go in your 5-iron. UST says not to tip-trim these shafts; trim at the butt only.
Not sure which tip your irons take, or how long each shaft should be? Read How Tapered (0.355") Tip Shaft Lengths Work, take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz, or let us install them with our Retrofit Service.
