Will this shaft fit your irons?

Check before you buy. Takes about 20 seconds.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The UST Recoil Dart 65 is a lightweight graphite iron shaft built as a constant-weight tapered set: 65 g (F2) or 66 g (F3) in every iron. UST designed Recoil Dart for consistency, feel and precise ball flight, and rates the 65 mid-high launch. This listing is the 0.355" taper-tip version, sold one shaft per iron (3-iron to wedge) in F2 (A) and F3 (R).

Before you order: each shaft is made for one iron, so order one per club. See How Tapered (0.355") Tip Shaft Lengths Work.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Swing a driver 70 to 95 mph: UST fits F2 from 70 to 85 and F3 from 80 to 95
  • Want a light graphite shaft at 65 g through the whole set
  • Want a mid-high launch, UST's rating for every Recoil Dart 65 build
  • Have irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel and want a shaft made for each iron

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

Hoop stiffness where it counts. UST tunes Recoil Dart's hoop stiffness in the critical areas: more in the energy transfer section for distance, and more in the tip to keep feel while steadying the tip for consistent ball flight.

Dual Action Recoil Technology. UST says DART removes inconsistent areas in the shaft and cuts down unwanted feedback at impact.

Constant weight, two flexes. Every F2 shaft weighs 65 g and every F3 shaft 66 g, both with 3.1° of torque and a 0.600" butt.

Specifications

UST's figures for every flex we sell.

Series Flex Weight (g) Torque (°) Launch
Recoil Dart 65 F2 (A) 65 3.1 Mid-high
Recoil Dart 65 F3 (R) 66 3.1 Mid-high

Material: graphite | Tip: 0.355" taper | Butt diameter: 0.600" | Raw length: 40.5" (3-iron) to 37" (wedge), every iron the same weight | UST publishes no spin rating or bend point | Source: UST Mamiya official Recoil DART 65 Taper specs, checked October 2026

Will It Fit Your Irons?

This shaft is for irons with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel. Order one shaft for each iron you are reshafting and pick the iron number in the dropdown: UST makes each taper shaft for a specific iron, from 40.5" for the 3-iron to 37" for the wedge, so a 7-iron shaft is not meant to go in your 5-iron. If your irons take a 0.370" parallel tip, look at the Recoil Dart ESX instead.
