WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Mitsubishi Vanquish Iron brings Mitsubishi's lightweight Vanquish line to the irons. Mitsubishi says it uses all of its know-how to reduce shaft twist and deformation for consistent strikes and accurate iron shots, with precision-crafted tolerances and lightweight materials for speed. It has a 0.370" parallel tip and a low kick point, sold one shaft per iron (#3 to PW) in the 50 or 60 series, in R, S or X.
Before you order: Mitsubishi lists a separate raw length and weight for each iron, so order one shaft per club and pick the iron in the dropdown.
Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Want a very light graphite iron shaft, about 50 to 71 g
- Want more club head speed from your irons
- Have irons with a 0.370" parallel-tip hosel
- Want R, S or X flex in a lightweight series
Not the right fit if you...
- Want a heavier Mitsubishi graphite iron with a mid launch and mid spin rating: see the MMT Parallel
- Have irons with a 0.355" taper tip: this listing is 0.370" parallel only
- Want a heavier, lower-torque shaft for a fast, aggressive swing
- Are not sure which tip your irons take: take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz first
How It Plays
Less twist, less deformation. Mitsubishi says the Vanquish Iron is built to reduce shaft twist and shaft deformation, for consistent strikes and accurate iron shots.
Lightweight for speed. Mitsubishi uses lightweight materials in the Vanquish line for more club head and ball speed. The 50 series runs 50 to 58 g and the 60 series 61 to 71 g, getting heavier toward the wedge.
Low kick point. Mitsubishi lists a low kick point on every build. Torque falls from the 3-iron to the pitching wedge, from 5.2 down to 3.3 in the 50 series and 3.9 down to 2.7 in the 60 series.
