WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Golf Pride CPx Midsize is a soft rubber golf grip: soft performance rubber in Golf Pride's EXO diamond-quilted pattern, with the Plus4 larger lower hand. Golf Pride sums it up as "maximum texture, maximum comfort." The midsize weighs 66 g with a 60 Round core. Golf Pride recommends midsize for hands 7.6" to 9" long.

Not sure of your size? Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger, then check our grip size guide.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Have hands 7.6" to 9" long, or wear a men's L or XL glove (Golf Pride's midsize range)
  • Want a soft grip that takes tension out of your hands: Golf Pride pitches the CPx at golfers who want to reduce hand tension
  • Like plenty of texture under your fingers
  • Squeeze the grip too hard: Golf Pride says the larger lower hand encourages lighter grip pressure

Not the right fit if you...

  • Have hands under 7.6": choose the CPx Standard (Golf Pride: 6.6" to 7.5")
  • Have hands over 9": choose the CPx Jumbo
  • Want a soft grip with a smooth surface: look at the CP2 Pro Midsize
  • Want a firm feel with cord for wet weather: look at a cord grip such as the MCC Plus4 Midsize

How It Plays

Soft performance rubber. Golf Pride uses a soft performance rubber on the CPx and pitches it at golfers who want less tension in their hands.

EXO diamond-quilted pattern. An embossed diamond-quilted pattern gives your hands more texture to grip and soft spots to sink into.

Larger lower hand (Plus4). A larger outer diameter in the lower hand simulates four extra wraps of tape, so there is less taper. Golf Pride says that encourages lighter grip pressure, less hand tension and more power.
