SHAFT COMPARISON
HOW IT COMPARES
The Tour AD DI Hybrid delivers the same mid-high launch and low-mid spin the DI wood shaft is known for in a hybrid-specific build — the broadest and most forgiving fit window in the Tour AD hybrid lineup, making it the natural starting point for players being fitted into Graphite Design through the hybrid for the first time. Players already gaming Tour AD DI in the driver will find it the most seamless extension of that feel through the hybrid. Those who need lower launch and more spin suppression should look at the Tour AD VF Hybrid, while players who need maximum carry height through their hybrid should look at the Tour AD IZ Hybrid instead.
Not sure whether the Tour AD DI Hybrid fits your game? Our Graphite Design Shaft Guide covers the full Tour AD lineup, or compare every model side by side in the Graphite Design Tour AD Wood Shaft Comparison Table.
Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
What is the club type like #2, #3 hybrid? Mine have no numbers but loft degree 18 degree and 21 degree.
Our standard degrees are:
#3 - 19 degrees
#4 - 22 degrees
#5 - 25 degrees
So yours appears to be closer to a #3 and #4 hybrid. -
Does the Tour AD DI Hybrid tend to launch more from the shaft or from the player’s delivery—meaning, will it change flight much compared to my current setup?
What's your current setup? The Tour AD DI Hybrid is designed to provide a mid/high launch with mid spin, but most of your flight still comes from your swing and delivery—the shaft mainly helps fine-tune it, not completely change it. In terms of feel, it’s smooth and responsive, and it tends to stay stable even on more aggressive swings, though it can feel a bit more “lively” than very tip-stiff shafts.
