WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Fujikura MCI Wedge brings the feel of Fujikura's MCI iron shafts into your wedges. It uses Metal Composite Technology and comes in two weights (105 and 125), each with two spin options: Solid for more spin and Mild for less. This listing has a 0.355" taper tip and is sold as one 35.5" wedge shaft.
Before you order: this is a single wedge shaft, so order one per wedge. Not sure about length or tip? Contact us first.
Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Want more approach and greenside spin: Fujikura made the Solid version for that
- Want a little less spin than the Solid gives: choose the Mild version
- Already play MCI iron shafts and want the same feel in your wedges
- Have wedges with a 0.355" taper-tip hosel
Not the right fit if you...
- Want a steel wedge shaft: look at our wedge shafts
- Want a lighter graphite wedge shaft: the UST Dart V Scoring Wedge comes in 104 g
- Need shafts for your irons: see the Fujikura MCI Iron shaft or take the Iron Shaft Finder Quiz
How It Plays
Metal Composite Technology. Fujikura developed it to combine the strengths of steel and graphite in one shaft, with even weight distribution and lengths that give a smooth flow of frequency and torque.
Solid or Mild. Fujikura says both versions were built to improve spin. Solid gives more spin for approach and greenside shots and rates mid-high launch and spin. Mild gives less spin (low-mid) with a mid launch and a high bend point.
Two weights. The 105 weighs 108 g in both versions with a 0.600" butt. The 125 weighs 124 g (Solid) or 125 g (Mild) with a 0.605" butt. Torque runs from 2.4° down to 2.1°.

Taper tip for Titleist wedges?
Yes, Titleist wedges are usually tapered (0.355") tip hosel. This Fujikura MCI wedge shaft is also 0.355" tip, so the shaft will fit.

I have Taylormade R series EF Spin wedges , I want to replace the stiff flex shafts in them because I’m 53 years old . Will these work
Hi Nathan,
Thanks for your question about putting the Fujikura MCI Wedge Shafts into your TaylorMade R Series EF Spin wedges!
First of all, The Fujikura MCI Wedge Shaft is primarily available in a .355" taper tip.
Given this, the Fujikura MCI Wedge Shaft will unfortunately NOT be a direct fit for your TaylorMade R Series EF Spin wedges, as those wedges typically use a .370" parallel tip hosel. There's a mismatch in the shaft tip diameter and the hosel size.
However, if you're looking for a graphite shaft to replace your stiff steel shafts for a softer feel and more comfort, there are excellent .370" parallel tip graphite wedge shaft options that would be compatible with your TaylorMade wedges.
We would recommend looking into options like:
Rrcoil Dart iron shafts (.370" Tip): These are very popular graphite options that offer excellent feel and are available in various weights and flexes.
KBS TGI Tour Graphite Iron shafts (.370" Tip): While primarily iron shafts, these can often be effectively trimmed for use in wedges and offer a great graphite feel.
Both of these types of shafts would offer the vibration dampening and potentially lighter weight you're seeking by moving from steel, and they are designed to fit your .370" hosels.
Please let me know if you'd like more information on these alternatives, and again, my apologies for the confusion!
