WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Graphite Design Tour AD VR is a Japan-made driver and fairway shaft that Graphite Design rates mid/high launch and low spin, with a firm+ butt, medium+ mid and firm tip. We build the VR-7 in X flex: 75 g, 3.0 torque, mid kick point. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

How It Plays
Mid/high launch, low spin. Graphite Design rates the VR-7 X mid/high launch with low spin and a mid kick point.
Firm+ butt, medium+ mid, firm tip. Graphite Design describes the VR as firm to stiff at the handle, medium/firm in the center and firm in the tip. It also has a slightly higher balance point than the other current Tour AD wood shafts.
Fast Taper Technology. Graphite Design uses a faster taper from the grip to the lower mid section, which it says gives more feel for the club head at impact. The shaft uses 50 ton carbon fiber and is made at Graphite Design's factory in Japan.
