WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Alpha Platinum is a mid-launch graphite driver and fairway shaft from Alpha Golf, which has designed golf equipment since 1992. It uses "S-Carbon 500" high modulus fiber for a smooth feel that still holds up to fast swings. We sell it in four weights, 45 to 75, from LL (ladies soft) to X flex. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

How It Plays
Alpha rates every Platinum flex mid launch. The S-Carbon 500 high modulus fiber gives a smooth feel while staying strong enough for powerful swings, and Alpha says it produces consistent launches with minimal dispersion.
Weight is the main choice. The 45 series weighs about 47 to 53 grams, the 55 series 57 to 58, the 65 series 68 to 70 and the 75 series 69 to 78. Alpha also publishes a frequency (CPM) for each flex, from 195 in the 45 LL up to 280 in the X flexes.

Is the Alpha Platinum worth it, or is it just cheap?
It's genuinely good, not a compromise shaft. Alpha uses the same high-modulus carbon fiber as premium brands and machines it to consistent tolerances. Mid-launch, smooth feel, 45–75g weight range. Players who've demoed it alongside shafts at 2–3x the price usually can't feel a meaningful difference. If you want quality without the tour-name markup, the Platinum delivers.
