WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Project X Cypher 2.0 is an ultralightweight graphite wood shaft built for more swing speed and a higher launch. True Temper rates it high trajectory and high spin for a deliberate tempo, and it uses a weave about 5% lighter than the original Cypher. We sell the 40 and 50 series, from 4.0 (ladies) to 6.0 (stiff). It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Swing under about 85 mph with a smooth tempo
- Want more height and carry off the tee
- Want a very light shaft: 47 to 48 grams in the 40 series
- Need a ladies (4.0), senior (5.0) or regular (5.5) flex
Not the right fit if you...
- Swing fast or have an aggressive transition: look at the Denali G2 Frost Blue (mid launch, mid spin)
- Already hit the ball high with too much spin
- Want a heavier, firmer feel: the 50 series tops out at 57 grams
How It Plays
True Temper rates the Cypher 2.0 high trajectory, high spin for a deliberate tempo: players with a slower backswing and smoother transition. Project X says the 5% lighter weave pushes lightweight stability further than the first Cypher.
The 40 series weighs 47 to 48 grams and the 50 series 55 to 57. Torque runs from 7.1 in the 4.0 flex down to 4.2 in the 50 series 6.0, so the heavier, stiffer builds feel more stable.
