Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want a low launch and low spin
  • Like a firm mid and tip but a softer, active handle
  • Want low torque for a stable, tight flight
  • Fit a 65 to 77 g shaft

Not the right fit if you...

  • Need help getting the ball up: the Dark Waves Blue and Dark Waves Red launch higher
  • Want a stiff, boardy handle
  • Need a light shaft under 60 g or a TX flex (we build R, S and X)
  • Want a counterbalanced shaft

How It Plays

Mitsubishi rates the Dark Waves White low launch and low spin, with a medium+ butt, firm mid and firm tip and a high kick point. The firm tip is there for more consistent center-face contact.

The taper butt design gives the handle the feel Mitsubishi associates with its Blue profiles while keeping the White's low flight. Mitsubishi reinforces the tip with MR70 carbon and uses Super Low Resin Content prepreg in the torque core for a smooth feel. Weights run from 65 g (60 R) to 77 g (70 X), with torque from 4.2 down to 3.7.
