INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

We do not accept any international returns at this time.

At Grips4less, we strive to provide a smooth international shopping experience. To ensure clarity regarding shipping, duties, and returns, please review our policy below:

Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees

  • International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by your country. These charges are the customer's responsibility and are determined by local customs authorities.
  • If duties and taxes are not paid upon delivery, the carrier may be unable to complete the shipment and may return the package to us.

Refused or Unpaid Shipments

  • If an international order is refused or the required duties/taxes remain unpaid, the carrier may return the package to us.
  • In such cases, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs, including outbound and return shipping fees.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsize is the classic all-rubber grip in a slightly bigger build. Medium firm, a little tacky, with the familiar plus-sign texture that gives your hands just enough bite without feeling rough. It fits hands 7.6" to 9" (men's L or XL glove), weighs 53 g, and comes in black.

Not sure of your size? Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger, then check our grip size guide.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Have hands 7.6" to 9", or wear a men's L or XL glove
  • Want a medium firm, all-rubber feel that works for almost everyone
  • Like a clean, simple look that matches every club in the bag
  • Want a bigger grip without adding much weight

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

Medium firm, nothing extreme. It's not mushy and not hard. You get comfort plus enough feedback to feel where you hit it, which is why so many golfers start here.

Plus-sign texture. The pattern gives you steady traction in dry conditions without chewing up your glove or your hands.

Bigger, not heavier. The midsize fills larger hands without the weight jump you get from bigger hybrid or wrap grips.

Heads up on swingweight. Rule of thumb: every 5 g of grip weight moves swingweight about 1 point. Going from a Tour Velvet Standard (49.5 g) to this midsize adds only 3.5 g, so you'll barely notice it. Coming from a heavier midsize like the MCC Plus4 (66 g), this is 13 g lighter, and the head will feel about 2 to 3 points heavier.

From Our Workbench

“If you're not too fussy about grips and just want something clean looking with medium firmness, the Tour Velvet is a great pick. Midsize is actually our most popular size of it, because a lot of players find they can hold the club lighter with the bigger diameter. That lighter hold usually means better control.”

Frequently Asked Questions

My hand measures about 6 3/4". Standard or midsize?

Golf Pride's chart puts that in standard, but the chart is a starting point. If you like a fuller grip or tend to squeeze, midsize is worth a try, and in Tour Velvet it's only 3.5 g heavier.

Will it fit my shaft?

It fits any standard 0.600" butt, steel or graphite, on irons, woods and driver.

What's the difference between the Tour Velvet and the Tour Velvet 360?

The 360's texture wraps all the way around with no logo, so it suits adjustable woods, and its rubber is a little softer.

What's the difference between the Tour Velvet and the ALIGN?

The ALIGN adds a raised ridge down the back so your hands land in the same spot every time. Otherwise the feel is very close.

Is it good in the rain?

It's all rubber with no cord, so it's fine in normal conditions. If you play a lot of wet rounds, a cord grip like the MCC Plus4 grabs better.
