INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

We do not accept any international returns at this time.

At Grips4less, we strive to provide a smooth international shopping experience. To ensure clarity regarding shipping, duties, and returns, please review our policy below:

  • If duties and taxes are not paid upon delivery, the carrier may be unable to complete the shipment and may return the package to us.

  • In such cases, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs, including outbound and return shipping fees.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Golf Pride MCC Plus4 ALIGN Midsize adds a raised ridge down the back of the MCC Plus4 Midsize, so your hands set up the same way on every club. Brushed cotton cord in the upper hand holds on when it's hot or wet, and the lower hand is a softer rubber built up to feel like four extra wraps of tape. It fits hands 7.6" to 9" (men's L or XL glove), weighs 67 g, and comes in grey.

Not sure of your size? Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger, then check our grip size guide.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Have hands 7.6" to 9", or wear a men's L or XL glove
  • Want your hands to land in the same spot every time without checking. The ridge is the landmark.
  • Tend to choke the club. A fatter lower hand makes it easier to hold lighter.
  • Play in heat or rain, or your hands sweat. The cord top keeps its bite when a rubber grip would slip.

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

The ridge sets your hands. A raised spine runs down the back of the grip under the fingers of both hands. It takes a few swings to get used to, and then it becomes the thing that tells you the face is square before you look down.

Midsize plus a thick lower hand. This is already a big grip, and the Plus4 taper makes the bottom half bigger still. Golfers who squeeze find they can relax their trail hand and let the club release instead of steering it.

Cord on top, soft rubber below. Brushed cotton cord in the upper hand pulls moisture away and holds in humid or wet rounds. The lower hand is a softer rubber found only on the Plus4 line, with pebbled plus-sign texture running the full length so there's no slick spot.

Heads up on swingweight, and on the ridge. Every 5 g of grip weight moves swingweight about 1 point. This grip is 14 g heavier than the ALIGN Standard (53 g), so the head will feel roughly 3 points lighter. Coming from a round MCC Plus4 Midsize (66 g), you won't notice. On install, the ridge has to run straight down the back of the shaft, square to the face, and match on every club. Sight down it in address position before the solvent flashes off, because once it cures there's no twisting it back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between ALIGN and the regular MCC Plus4 Midsize?

The ridge. Same cord, same rubber, same built-up lower hand, 1 g heavier. If you don't want a landmark for your hands, the round version is easier to install.

Is the ridge legal for tournament play?

Yes, as long as it's installed straight along the back of the grip. Golf Pride builds ALIGN to conform to the Rules of Golf. A crooked install is where you can run into trouble.

I'm between standard and midsize. Which one?

Go with the ALIGN Standard and add 2 to 4 wraps of tape. That gets you close to midsize feel and keeps the weight down. Build the tape up evenly so the ridge still sits straight.

Can I install it on an adjustable driver?

Yes, but set your hosel first. Every time you change loft or face angle, the grip rotates with the shaft and the ridge is no longer square. If you tinker with settings a lot, a round grip is the easier life.

Should I get the ALIGN Max instead?

The MCC Plus4 ALIGN Max Midsize is the newer version of this grip. If you already know you like the original ALIGN ridge, stick with this one. Starting fresh, it's worth looking at both.
