FULL DESCRIPTION
What’s the new way to think about ball speed?
VANQUISH™ is a brand-new ultra-premium lightweight brand designed to help golfers unlock more club head speed while still providing unparalleled consistency swing-to-swing. VANQUISH™ features six core technological tenets to deliver more consistency swing-to-swing and help you shoot lower scores: 1) a new Amorphous Wire Technology used in the butt section to increase activity in the handle for more clubhead acceleration, 2) a Super Low Resin Content Prepreg to drive resin content lower and increase carbon density for the best possible feel, 3) proprietary, exotic 46 and 40 Ton prepregs used in full length applications for added strength and lower torque, 4) a uniquely fortified tip section with outer layer material angled differently for tip stability, 5) Consistent Feel Design to reduce the variables between weights and flexes to allow for ease of fitting, and 6) our Precision Crafted Design to ensure VANQUISH™ keeps the tightest possible tolerances in weight and frequency.
The Mitsubishi VANQUISH is a high launch, high spin driver shaft built around an ultra-premium lightweight design — engineered specifically for players who want to unlock more clubhead speed without sacrificing consistency or feel. It features a medium-stiff handle for smooth, effortless loading, a soft mid section that allows the shaft to flex actively through the downswing, and a soft tip that promotes maximum launch angle and carry distance. At weights starting under 50 grams, the VANQUISH is built for players with swing speeds between 75 and 95 mph who are leaving distance on the table due to insufficient launch and spin.
Compared to the VANQUISH VV (high launch, mid-high spin), the original VANQUISH produces more overall spin and a higher peak trajectory — making it the better fit for players who need maximum carry height rather than a more controlled high-launch flight. Compared to the Grand Bassara (also high launch, high spin), the VANQUISH has a firmer handle section that provides slightly more stability off the tee, while the Grand Bassara is the softer, more active option for the slowest swing speeds. Players who generate enough speed to need mid launch rather than high launch should step down to the VANQUISH VV or consider the Kai'li Red instead.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
What's the key benefit of the Vanquish shaft?
The main benefit of the Vanquish shaft is that it’s extremely lightweight while still staying stable.
While other lightweight shafts may create easier speeds, they lack the control. Vanquish is one of the rare shafts that brings these two together without sacrificing the other.

Difference between SR and R flexes?
Hi Courtlandt,
Thank you for your question about the Mitsubishi Vanquish shaft! That's a great choice, and it's a very common question.
The primary difference between SR (Stiff-Regular) and R (Regular) flex is how much the shaft bends, which is directly tied to a golfer's swing speed. Think of the SR flex as a "tweener" or a "Regular+" flex—it's slightly stiffer than a standard Regular flex but not as firm as a Stiff flex.
R Flex (Regular): This is the most common flex for male amateur golfers. It is generally recommended for players with a driver swing speed between 85–95 mph. It provides a good balance of feel, distance, and control for the average player.
SR Flex (Stiff-Regular): This flex is designed for golfers who fall between the Regular and Stiff categories. It's ideal for players with a driver swing speed in the 90–100 mph range who find a regular flex too whippy or a stiff flex too difficult to load and feel.
For a lightweight, premium shaft like the Mitsubishi Vanquish, getting the right flex is key to maximizing its performance. Choosing the correct flex will help you achieve the best launch angle, spin rate, and overall feel, ensuring you get the most out of every shot.
If you have any more questions or want to confirm which flex is right for you, don't hesitate to ask!
Best regards,
The Grips4Less Team
