WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Mitsubishi MMT Parallel Iron is a graphite iron shaft with Metal Mesh Technology: braided stainless steel strands built into the layers toward the tip. Mitsubishi rates it mid launch, mid spin. This listing is the 0.370" parallel-tip version in 40 to 90 series (L to S), sold as one 42" shaft that you trim to fit each iron.

Before you order: this is a parallel-tip shaft in one 42" length that gets trimmed for each iron, so order one per club. Not sure about trimming? Contact us first.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Want to try graphite irons for more consistent center-face contact: Mitsubishi's own reason to play it
  • Want a wide choice of weights, from 48 g to 98 g
  • Swing a driver anywhere from 80 to 105 mph: Mitsubishi's fit guide covers that range
  • Have irons with a 0.370" parallel-tip hosel, or want shafts you can trim yourself

Not the right fit if you...

How It Plays

Metal Mesh Technology. As Mitsubishi stacks the prepreg layers, it adds a small section of braided 304 stainless steel mesh toward the tip. The mesh adds density and stability, so the rest of the wall can be thinner.

Mid launch, mid spin. Mitsubishi says the result is a responsive shaft that still gives the steady launch and spin control irons need. Every series has a mid kick point.

Eight builds. The 40 and 50 series come in L, the 60 in A and R, the 70 in R, the 80 in R and S, and the 90 in S. Torque runs from 6.2° (40 L) down to 3.4° (90 S).
