Ventus TR is the result of decades of engineering expertise and advanced analytics from the enso® motion capture system. Built on revolutionary VeloCore Technology and engineered with new ultra-strong carbon fabric.
With VeloCore Technology providing an incredibly stable platform for performance, the additional integration of a unique Spread Tow carbon fabric works in unison to create advanced overall stability without compromising player feel.
Ongoing enso® analytics show that the shaft undergoes tremendous stress in the mid/handle section during the transition and downswing. By incorporating an incredibly strong and ultra-lightweight Spread Tow carbon fabric, VENTUS TR is able to increase torsional stiffness in this specific section, helping to even further reduce twist and ovalization during the swing.
How It Compares
The Ventus TR Red is the highest-launching and most active profile in the TR family — a smooth-loading shaft with a softer tip section than the TR Blue or TR Black, built for players who want easier launch and carry distance with the added stability TR's reinforced mid and handle sections deliver. Players who want a more neutral ball flight and firmer feel should look at the TR Blue, or the TR Black for maximum stability and the lowest launch in the TR lineup.

I currently use the Fujikura Ventus TR Red Graphite Shaft 5-R non-Velocore with my TM Stealth 2 driver. What is the Velocore+ version of my shaft that you would suggest. Thanks

What is the difference between VENTUS RED and VENTUS TR RED
Main difference between the OG Ventus and TR is the new material that was added to the mid to handle section of the TR shaft. That material creates a stiffer and more stable handle section that also leads to lower launch and spin numbers compared to OG Ventus. TR also is somewhat of a tweener where they fit in between the original Ventus skus. Meaning TR red fits between red and blue, TR blue fit in between blue and black, and TR black is now the lowest launching lowest spinning Ventus option.
