The Mitsubishi Kai'li Dark Waves Blue is a mid launch, mid spin driver shaft built on the Kai'li stability platform — delivering the low-torque, consistent performance the Kai'li family is known for in a premium Dark Waves visual design. As with all colorways in the Dark Waves series, the Blue finish is a visual designation rather than a performance indicator — the Kai'li Dark Waves Blue shares the same mid launch, mid spin profile as the Dark Waves White and Dark Waves Red. It features a medium-stiffness handle for smooth loading, a medium-plus mid section for slightly more stability through the downswing than the standard Kai'li Blue, and a medium tip for a balanced, consistent ball flight. Best suited for swing speeds between 88 and 105 mph who want a premium, low-torque mid-launch shaft with a distinctive look.
Compared to the standard Kai'li Blue (also mid launch, mid spin), the Dark Waves Blue has a slightly firmer mid section — producing a marginally more planted, stable feel through impact while maintaining the same launch and spin window. Compared to the Kai'li Dark Waves White and Kai'li Dark Waves Red, the performance is identical — the color choice within the Dark Waves series is purely aesthetic. Players stepping down from the Dark Waves who need a lower-launching profile should look at the Kai'li White or Diamana WB, while players who need more height and carry should consider the Diamana RB or TENSEI AV Series Blue.
