Mitsubishi Golf is excited to announce the availability of the new
DiamanaTM Derby Limited, a limited-edition shaft created following the inaugural DiamanaTM Derby, an un-scripted, competitive golf road trip featuring five players competing head-to-head across some of the most iconic courses in the United States.
Rather than awarding a traditional trophy, the DiamanaTM Derby Champion earned the opportunity to influence a limited-edition design. The result represents a new approach to brand integration in modern golf content: instead of logo placement or overt sponsorship, the prize itself became the product.
For 2025, that opportunity went to Luke Toomey — better known as Tooms Golf — with the overall design shaped collectively by the group behind the Derby: Luke Kwon, Taco Golf, Sam Heung-Min, Harry Na, and Champion Luke “Tooms Golf” Toomey. Their shared time on the road — competitive rounds, missed fairways, inside jokes, and long days—ultimately defined the tone, language, and details embedded throughout the design.
Based on the popular DiamanaTM BB profile, the Diamana Derby Limited presents as clean, restrained, and unmistakably Diamana. Up close, subtle micro-script details embedded directly into the carbon fiber reveal easter-egg nods to the phrases, quotes, and shorthand that fans recognize from the crew’s most popular YouTube
videos. These details appear only in certain light, rewarding curiosity without announcing themselves.
The shaft pairs Diamana’s signature hibiscus — an emblem carried through every generation of the brand—with a New Zealand fern, symbolizing the crew behind the journey. The restrained pink-and-green color palette draws from California light and late-round fairways, balancing confidence, simplicity, and longevity.
The Leader in Material Innovation: The DiamanaTM Derby Limited Edition features the same 6th Generation DiamanaTM BB profile Luke “Tooms Golf” Toomey —our 2026 Diamana Derby Winner —plays personally in his gamer shaft. To deliver maximum increased energy transfer, the Diamana Derby Limited utilizes Su-
per high-modulus 80-Ton Dialead Pitch Fiber is used in the butt section. To lower torque and provide greater stability, high modulus 46 ton fiber is used in the shaft’s angle plies. And, to retain Diamana’s ‘unlike any other’
feel, Mitsubishi has incorporated their proprietary Xlink TechTM Resin System to increase overall strength and durability of the shaft while also driving carbon fiber volume up for better feel.
