WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Graphite Design Tour AD DI Hybrid brings the DI "Deep Impact" design into a hybrid shaft, made at Graphite Design in Japan. Its profile is soft in the butt, medium-plus in the middle and stiff in the tip, and Graphite Design rates it mid launch with mid to low/mid spin. We sell the 75 and 85 series in R, S and X, and the 95 and 105 series in S and X. It arrives assembled with your choice of hybrid adapter and grip, ready to attach to your hybrid head.

Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Play a Tour AD DI in your woods and want the same feel in your hybrid
- Want a stiff tip for control with a softer handle
- Want a heavier hybrid shaft: 78 to 109 grams
- Swing about 86 mph or faster: Graphite Design fits R at 86-95 mph, S at 96-105 mph and X at 105+ mph
Not the right fit if you...
- Swing under 86 mph: Graphite Design's flex guide starts at 86 mph for this shaft
- Want a light hybrid shaft: the lightest option is 78 grams
How It Plays
Graphite Design rates the DI Hybrid mid launch with a mid kick point, and designs it with the same performance traits as the Tour AD DI wood shafts: a mid/high trajectory with low/mid to mid spin. The soft butt lets you feel the shaft load, and the stiff tip keeps the head stable for accuracy.
Weight and flex set the spin. The 75 R and S and the 85 R are rated mid spin; every heavier or stiffer build is rated low/mid. The 75 and 85 series come in R, S and X, and the 95 and 105 series in S and X.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
What is the club type like #2, #3 hybrid? Mine have no numbers but loft degree 18 degree and 21 degree.
Our standard degrees are:
#3 - 19 degrees
#4 - 22 degrees
#5 - 25 degrees
So yours appears to be closer to a #3 and #4 hybrid. -
Does the Tour AD DI Hybrid tend to launch more from the shaft or from the player’s delivery—meaning, will it change flight much compared to my current setup?
What's your current setup? The Tour AD DI Hybrid is designed to provide a mid/high launch with mid spin, but most of your flight still comes from your swing and delivery—the shaft mainly helps fine-tune it, not completely change it. In terms of feel, it’s smooth and responsive, and it tends to stay stable even on more aggressive swings, though it can feel a bit more “lively” than very tip-stiff shafts.
